Laksa is a good example of simple but delicious. The owners Jenny and Bill always take care of us. Everything we tried was good but some of my favorites are,

I had high expectations of this spot after reading the reviews but it felt like something was missing. I wish I could give this a 3.5 at least. The woman who served us was very friendly, quick, and attentive. I’ve had garlic noodles all my life and for some reason this was off from what I was used to. I ordered the 5 spice chicken with garlic noodles and sad to say it didn’t taste like what I was hoping for. I was searching for the traditional garlicy spicy taste but couldn’t find it in this meal. My husband ordered the beef pho and it was alright. Still would recommend if you haven’t tried it and I’m sure there are other items on the menu that I’m missing out on. This is purely a review on my orders only 🙁 Have to be honest.

We were craving garlic noodles, but our usual spot chic’n time was closed so we googled this spot. When we get there table was wet she still proceeded to sit us down so I asked her for a towel to clean it off. We get our food (garlic noodles with pork) the noodles tasted horrible. As if they were cooked with old butter that had been sitting out in the fridge for months. Well I didn’t complain cause I didn’t want to make it uncomfortable for both of us. Their fish sauce was also super watered down! we asked for Togo boxes, she gave em to us and saw us struggling to put our food in it, yet these two white folks that were sitting next to us had also asked for some stuff to go, she went on to box and bag their leftovers and even tied it for them. You can judge but I now have food poisoning. But NEVER GOING BACK!

Food is pretty good, we ordered vegetarian items. The woman working there was quite rude and unfriendly to us and others but not everyone, thus the minus 2 stars. We live part time in this neighborhood and won’t be coming back. We’ll be sticking to our go-to places on Valencia, Thanh Tam 2 and Chic ‘N Time.

Love it! Found them on yelp. Best pho in the area. Better than Mau. Thai ice tea was great too. Very clean and friendly owner.

This place is a little more expensive those most Vietnamese or Pho places but the quality is a bit better as well. Small but comfy. Staff is always friendly and talkative. Seems family run. Parking in the area can be tricky but worth a stop if you can. Broth is savory and needs little to no sauce.

Had the chicken curry noodle soup. A little salty when you first taste but once you add all the extras in its perfect. Would definitely get again. Lady doing to go orders seemed very nice. They were very rude to me at Sunflower down on 16th, which is a shame as I have my never had a bad experience before. Anyway, Laksa to the rescue .
