Lally’s has some nice small town charm. Food is decent. But opening service on Saturday was bad bad. Forgot parts of order and had to remind them. Never got checked on, refills, plates cleared. Prices are fair but it doesn’t make up for the lackluster, uncaring service.

Disappointing. I ordered the “Super Burger”, and it was anything but. It contained no bacon or cheese, and the patty was obviously pre-shaped and previously frozen. The greens on the burger would have been nice if not totally wilted, and the bun contained a disgusting pink sweet sauce. My side salad was nothing but a tiny dish of iceberg lettuce drenched in dressing. Honestly, the greens on the burger would have been better as the salad, as would the iceberg on the burger.

Brought my GF here. She is a long-time family friend of the owner. It was a surprise for her and she was very happy. I had the jumbo ribs, and it was delicious! She had the chicken fried steak, and she loved it. We will definitely stop in again.

Whenever I return to LeMars I make time to stop and eat broasted chicken here. I have memories going back more than 40 years eating here. Excellent broasted chicken and customer service.

The owner was nice. Extremely nice. However our waitress had long hair and it got in our food so she just picked out the part that her hair touched. The guy bussing tables had pajama pants on. And it took so long to get service.

Place looked like a place for locals but my sides were larger than my entree. For the price though you get what you pay for. Teenage waitstaff and cooks. Not horrible but nothing impressive either.
