Pretty good dive Chinese food. People say the bathroom is gross. Not so this evening. Bathrooms are clean, but there is a sign saying “please do not flush toilet paper. Put it in the trash can.”. Whatevs. The food is good.

This place was pretty good. My friends and I were passing by and decided to stop. Its a small place, but very quaint. The staff was really nice and attentive. The food was delicious and I especially loved the Egg Drop Soup. My daughter, who is a picky eater, actually enjoyed the food as well (chicken wings mostly). If I were to drive back through there I would totally stop by again and I recommend it as well.

Lampasas Rice was much better than I expected. I was very hesitant to try after passing several times when driving through the quaint little town. One day my kid said let’s just try it and I’m thankful I listened. Now I’ve been there several times and the timing is important as is with any buffet. If you go during peak busy hours, typically 11-1 the food is made fresh and will taste great. They have a good chef cooking the dishes and they taste very good. If you go during a time when the business is winding down the food of course will be sitting there on warmers and it won’t be as fresh, just be sure to go during a busy time. For this being in a little town, I was surprised to say the least. Very good!

Today was our first time eating at this little place, which I’ve driven past numerous times before. I should state first that there are few frills. It has an austere and basic feel. However, having said that, the food made up for anything lacking in atmosphere.

They have great fresh food! My family and I come here several times a month, someone’s multiple times a week!! We love their shrimp zucchini, along the rest of their buffet! I’ve also ordered their Mongolian beef from menu to take home, it was delicious!

If you can overlook the dismal surroundings, the food is fine and the price is better! Jalapeño chicken was my fav. Didn’t get to try the hot and sour soup but it “looked” right. They have an entire fried food buffet, if you’re into that.

Most of the food good but the restaurant itself needs to be gutted and redone. I would not go back as environment depressing. All deserts and cookies stale! Staff nice but again no real environment and not real clean looking. Do not recommend for a night out!

For a buffet this place isn’t bad. The inside of the restaurant is a little dated but it’s a family run business and I’m guessing that they are just trying to save. Your better off going when they just open to gaurentee freshness.
