Stopped for lunch on the way home from Grand Rapids and wanted to try something different, so we got off the expressway and cruised into Ionia to the Lamplight Grill. We are glad we did. My wife had the Lamplight Chef salad and I had Rich’s Clubhouse Melt. Generous portions of food that was very tasty and fresh. Great ambiance. It felt like you were eating with your friends and neighbors. Service was excellent and you did not feel rushed. I would definitely return if in the area. highly recommend.

Seemed like a nice place, food was okay the chicken tenders and fries just weren’t amazing they seemed like frozen packaged food that they heated up. The ranch was amazing and delicious.

First time here had the fish dinner. Very tasty hot fish and hot crunchy fries. The garlic bread was delicious. Decor was really unique. The service was fast and friendly.

It was very busy. Our wait person was extremely busy. I asked the busser if they would get me 2 small things that are different from the normal. Mustard and some cocktail sauce. She said something to someone and all the sudden the wait person came to the table asking what she forgot. I was embarrassed for getting her “talked to” regarding my order. I was simply trying to not make a fuss and inexperience did just that.

Great food, great atmosphere of historic pictures of Ionia. A nice restaurant/bar prices a little high but prices are high every where. We got right in on Valentines day with no wait, friendly waitress and food came fast.
