Not bad pizza to be honest. There really is nothing else for miles so it’s a great treat for this area. It’s a little hole in the wall place you might otherwise drive by. I would probably actually give this a 3.5- 3.7. They made it hot fresh and fast. Brought it right out to us, fantastic.

Hey just a shout out to Lances Pizza & Subs. If you have a public menu on your public website for the Tennessee Ridge location you should honor the menu. It clearly states that a 2ltr soda comes with the super select family deal. For all the people who read these reviews make sure that you confirm your order to make sure that you actually are getting what you think you’ve ordered. It’s also the managers job in my opinion to make things right with the customer not make lame excuses. For example; “that its a old menu online”, “that they have no to go menu for customers to see the differences between the online menu and their specific restaurant”. This interaction over a 2 ltr of soda, now some may say I’m being petty but in my defense If I drop a $50.00 on food and think my drink comes with…I expect my drink, not a brush off from the manager.

Disclaimer: I am biased with Lances because it has been there the whole time I was growing up in Dover. That said; their food is great. As a person who really loves pizza and has sampled it all over the East coast; you will be hard pressed to find any pizza better in this area. I am stuck on the Italian subs right now; they are fresh, delicious and always hot. I would highly recommend this place if you are yearning for a hot and yummy pizza.

They did not sell sweet tea.We had a large pizza and the cheese, beef and bacon were below average. And it only had cheese, beef and bacon on it. Ok ill explain. The cheese tasted like it had maybe gotten some moisture so it tasted a little off. The beef was a bunch of tiny pellets like the ones on cheap grade school pizza. And the bacon was mostly fat. But the staff was friendly. I thought the staff was very welcoming.
