First, you have to understand this is a very small place that is owned by local folks. They are not a large operation but they focus on providing the best BBQ & homemade side choices for your enjoyment! We had never tried this neighborhood restaurant until today. I must say the food was delicious. The brisket was tender on our dental problems. The chicken and sides were also great. Too top things off the banana pudding was totally scrumptious. I can tell it’s from scratch because box custard doesn’t taste that good. Never judge a place or person by the outside. Inside is where the goodness is.

This place is the way. Stopped by here randomly on a Saturday afternoon and got the burnt ends plate, the brisket plate, and a pork sandwich. Not lying when I say it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. It took me by surprise. I had burnt ends in Texas for the first time recently and these are even better. Had potato salad and baked beans as my sides, they were both on point. My mom (who does not generally like bbq) ate her pork sandwich in one sitting and raved about it. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was friendly as well, even though they were busy. Y’all have a new fan!

This place has GREAT pork sandwiches! I drive 45 minutes out of my way to get a sandwich from here. No thrills here but the staff is nice and the meat is great. That’s really what matters to me. My one criticism is that I’m not a fan of the potatoe salad. Which makes my heart sad because I love potatoe salad on the side with a pork sandwich.
