It’s a little country diner. Great food, fantastic pie. Wait staff is hardworking and efficient. The fried chicken is amazing, but got a country fried steak and it was so good! Perfectly cooked food and generous portions make this a favorite Sunday lunch!

I took my 93 year old mother and her sister. They grew up in Lowry. Mom used to go to the Landmark restaurant during lunch to wait table’s. This was in the 40’s. The girl let her go back and look at the old kitchen. Made us feel very welcomed. Ran into some Snyder’s there. Her name was Bertha Glee Snyder. She was about 16 then. I loved seeing where she worked. And the food was delicious Thank you for the experience. ❤️

Excellent food and service. A hidden gem off of HWY 13. Worth the stop as its only half a mile from HWY 13. Open until 2pm. Breakfast until 11:30am. I went a couple of times over the weekend so more pics.

If exceptional down-home food light on the pocketbook intrigues you, the Landmark restaurant in Lowry City it the place. The bountiful plate lunches change each day and the portions are enormous. The meat loaf, one of several choices on Tuesday, was juicy, perfectly cooked and slathered in brown gravy. It comes with three vegetables and a real home-made roll or cornbread. If the flavor is not to your liking, each table has a container of Cavender’s Greek Seasoning so you can add some Zing. The hamburgers are great too, but the guys bit into their’s too quickly. The deserts look amazing, but I am always too full to try one of their merangue beauties. Don’t be put off by the looks outside, if you’re hungry and want a delicious breakfast or lunch, stop at the Landmark.
