My local colleague recommended it. Ate there with no regrets. Awesome lunch buffet. Fresh salad, tasty/tender roast beef, and authentic gumbo soup. The dessert of cranberry pie is good too! We like it!

We really enjoyed Landry’s Cajun! The menu has a good variety and the food and portions are great. There’s a salad bar that comes with most entrees and it was very fresh with a large variety of items to choose from. There’s a kids menu with reasonably priced options, too. On your way out you can feed the wildlife! The parking lot is large and can accommodate big trucks and trailers. We went on Thursday around 5pm and there was no wait. There’s a full buffet on the weekends.

The food on the buffet was really good. I liked that I could try a little bit of everything. We tried the fresh boiled crab. Cracking those bad boys ain’t for the faint of heart. Lots of work but delicious inside. They had a live band there while we are and they did a great job. Definitely a great place to eat when visiting from out of town. Bring a few quarters if you have kids so they can feed the turtles in the pond outside and the ducks. Staff was great! Very attentive

Great people, great service and food excellent. Live music and kid friendly atmosphere. This place is top of the line in everything. I am a truck driver and Mexican. I always worry about being judge or not treated right. It has happened before but this place showed me the love Louisiana is all about. Thank you for a great time and food.

What an amazing way to enjoy this special Cajun restaurant has to offer, we were there while we were going to Palmetto Island. The waitresses Connor and Liz were fantastic. We enjoyed the salad bar (specially the okra). I highly recommend the Shrimp festival if you are a shrimp lover and also the special. Great place to enjoy seafood

The food on the buffet was not hot and we got there at 11. I ordered the seafood gumbo and literally had 4 shrimp and no crab meat in the bowl. They were not busy and the waitress was Def not attentive. She walked thru so fast and never looked for me to be able to call her over!

Disappointing. We got there about 7:20 on a Saturday night. Both my husband and I got the buffet with crabs. Not much good I can say about the buffet, the fried shrimp and fish were small and dried out. The manager ( I think) kept stirring them and knocking the breading off. The pasta with cream sauce was so old it was brown. The gumbo was warm brown water, I had to take a scoop of the shrimp etouffee and mix it in the gumbo to give it some substance. There were no signs identifying any of the food, at least 4 things, we never did figure out what they were. The entire time we were there, the only food item that was replaced or refreshed, was the whole fried catfish (they put 3 or 4 out at a time). Then the crabs, I got five crabs. My husband went to get some crabs, they were gone. We asked when they were bringing more out, they said they weren’t. Our waitress, who had told us they were running out of boiled crawfish, had no idea about the crabs. So, while our waitress is trying to adjust our bill, the waitress at the table next to us, brings out a tray of crabs to her table. Thankfully, they turned them down and my husband was able to get some crabs.

We enjoyed the lunch buffet. It was Ash Wednesday so it was basically all fish. But, that was okay, it was good. Best of all it was NOT the chain Landry’s restaurant!! The only real complaint we have is nothing on the buffet, including the salad dressings, we’re labeled. Not being from the area or knowing the food we had no idea what anything was and found out later there was tarter sauce at the salad Island. We will support and enjoy the family establishment next time we are in the area.
