Kinda limited menu, or at least different than the 50 selections of pho and a couple more pages of menus for most Vietnamese places. However, food was definitely top-notch and a little different in flavor than other places.

My husband and I were transported back to our time together in Viet Nam with every bite! Read TripAdvisor reviews before deciding based on these. We loved our experience at Lan’s! The portions were smaller than we’re used to in the avg Americanized Vietnamese restaurant (who wants that anyway) and the Pho could’ve def used more broth but not enough to say anything about because of the high quality ingredients and beautifully layered tastes. We felt it was worth every penny and not overpriced but standard for any lunch in Santa Fe. She serves organic meat and veggies which is a huge bonus for us! The place was very clean and our service was excellent. The server said he loves working there. Not sure what the bad review was all about from a past employee…there’s always many sides to stories. Don’t pass this gem up!

The pho is good. The service seems to be typical Asian — you get what you get and the customer is NOT right. She hires 3 millennials who spend half their time talking, and did NOT get my to-go order right. On one visit, a red plastic bottle ring ended up in my food. Don’t expect to be comped when they get it wrong. This could be such a better restaurant if they upped their customer service game. Sorry, chef Lan for these reasons you were chopped.

Hands down the best Vietnamese food place in Santa Fe and probably in the entire state of New Mexico. Lan’s makes everything fresh from scratch so don’t expect quick meals, totally worth the wait though. Oh and do have her coconut flan for desert, you’ll never want any other flan.

Lans food is one of a kind! I have tried pho and other dishes in 16 different states every time I travel, and her food is by far the best I have EVER tried. Lan has a kind heart and puts a lot of love in every dish. You can tell she cares about the food she serves! It’s fresh, organic, and healthy. Lans has become mine and my family’s favorite resurant of all time!! I highly recommend this resturant to anyone who wants AUTHENTIC Vietnamese food!! If I could give her 10 stars I would!!!

I am a former server at this place and you should definitely read this review before going to this place. Lan (the asian woman) takes ALL TIPS from servers whenever she wants. This happens especially with new servers who get all tips taken away from them during their “training phase” which lasts as long as Lan wants which is usually a few weeks. Even experienced servers get their tips taken if you don’t up sell enough to her satisfaction. So if you receive good service chances are its going straight into her pockets. For repeat customers there is a reason why you always see new servers. Also the water is straight from the sink, portions are small and overpriced, and if you don’t leave a tip IT WILL BE ADDED ON ANYWAYS to your bill without your consent. You want a tiny small bowl of white rice with your entree prepare to pay extra 4 dollars. The pot of tea is made with tiny pinches of tea that comes in a jug that cost 12 dollars but we charge 5-7 dollars a pot. She is very corrupt and you will probably hear her swear if someone is new and is struggling since she offers little/no training and gets pissed off easy it is very sad. If you don’t care what happens behind the scenes and want overpriced food and forced gratuity without your consent (yes it will be added on) then this is the place for you.

Ive been eating vietnamese phō my entire life. The portions were disproportionately small for the price, also, it didn’t taste like any vietnamese food ive ever enjoyed in the past. Plus it was cold, and the service was well below mediocre. I spent $23 and yet im still somewhere between still hungry and sick to my stomach. Yuck.

The service was disastrous and very discriminating. On top of it all the food was horrible and the portion sizes were small for amount money you have to pay. They don’t tell you gratuity is added and expect a tip as well. The food was cold and tasted as if it had been cooked in fat and it still didn’t taste like Vietnamese food. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I ate two dinners and a lunch there the week of Feb 25th. Every meal was awesome and without flaw. I was from out of town and only wish I could have tried more of the dishes. The place is quite and clean with great service.

The food used to be good but expensive. Now it is just expensive and the service is spotty. The last time we ate there our food was not good and by midnight my wife was experiencing all the symptoms of food poisoning
