There is a great selection of Southeast Asian *vegan* desserts here AND juices & boba drinks. This cafe specializes in coconut milk based desserts. Unfortunately none of the hot food are vegan, but you can go to Bodhi Bowl in the same the parking lot. I ordered the mochi layers, coco pandan (sugared coconut inside), and coco cassava. The desserts taste light & healthy. The sweetness is mild or light compared to western desserts. It’s the textures that are more interesting. The staff are very knowledgeable, and if others are nervous about the language barrier in Little Saigon area, there’s none here. The shopkeeper told me the other vegan items off the desert menu are the:

Stopped by in Little Saigon in Sacramento today. We love Thai and Laos food so we came in to cocomilk Cafe. The papaya salad, lao sausage, and soy noodles were all great. It feels like home cooking. Great food in a little shopping plaza. Definitely worth the stop and getting our Thai/Laos food craving fixed. GO!!!

LOVE this place! We’ve been huge fans of CocoMilk Cafe since they started out in Stockton and we’ve been wanting to visit their new Sacramento location since they opened. Well, we finally made it here and they did not disappoint! We ordered about 6 items to share along with 4 drinks and we were stuffed! Everything was amazing and we are looking forward to coming back when we are in the area! Thank you for the delicious food and delectable desserts!

This is an authentic lao/Thai place. I like their sausage (not pictured), as it is filled with Lemongrass and not dry. The meat below is a bit chewy but flavored well. Laotian style papaya salad still pretty spicy for mild and authentic. Atmosphere more for take out.

Great service and food. Papaya salad isn’t too spicy (I ordered medium spicy). Soup comes hot and green tea was hot. Coconut cassava was delicious.

Seriously. Go eat here right now. Came in the other day with a friend who ordered the Beef salad, and then came back today for lunch to try it myself. The staff was incredibly friendly and explained the most popular dishes and what makes them special. You’ve got to try the Lao Sausage. It was a savory with a hint of sweetness plus the dipping sauce gave it a nice dash of heat at the end. We also tried Ube Coco mochi balls which were great. Support these guys, you won’t regret it!
