Awful service at the downtown Lapa. Waitress barely understood our simple menu order. Even though I reminded her twice about a missing side, it never arrived until after we finished lunch and asked for the check. Also this waitress brought my order on the same plate as my husband’s, placing the plate right in front of him. Really, it was like she didn’t care if I was there.

I found a metal bristle from the brush they use to clean the grill with in my taco and swallowed one. After we notified the restaurant that I was choking they said sorry and removed a taco from my tab. Never again. The restaurant is very inviting but the service not so much. The one on the west side has way better service. All the girls at this location were at the bar flirting with some male customers . ♀️ thanks but no thanks.

We went for a date night. The staff was very friendly but not very attentive. We sat at the bar for convenience and somehow still ended up with a 5 yr old sitting next to us in a bar stool. Our server seemed overwhelmed and was distracted by a larger party. It took 30 mins to refill our drinks and even longer to close our tab. Our food was very good and cocktails were tasty. The service side needs some work. Overall I would recommend but expect some delays.

Worst dining experience I’ve received. My coworkers and I, party of 10, went to grab lunch on a Friday, we understood we were a bigger party but there were about 2-3 tables, the restaurant was empty. They took about 40 mins to give us all of our drinks, 20 more for us to get tostadas. After an hour and a half of being there and still not getting our food we mentioned to them we needed to leave and take the food to-go, our lunch break had already passed 30 minutes. The server said, “have you really been here for 1hr 30 mins?” The manager finally stepped in and after 2 hours and several orders wrong we left. I ordered only a tostada and they gave me a whole dish of ceviche, which has not been the first time they’ve had mistakes like this. Will not go back
