Truly a hidden gem. Had the Spam sandwich (that’s right food snobs, Spam!). A thick slab of Spam, creamy scrambled eggs, delightful smoked Gouda, arugula, and Lapu Lapu sauce which is spicy without being overpowering. Wife had BLT&Avocado. Ample serving of bacon and perfectly ripe and creamy avocado.

We had breakfast at Lapu Lapu and it was so tasty. There are some more traditional sandwiches then they have American traditional breakfasts. The more traditional sandwiches remind me of something I would highly enjoy if I was hungover. Everything was tasty. No reservations needed, tables are outside or you do take out. Give it a try for something more casual!

One of the best breakfast I’d ever had. Would come back and eat here everyday if I could. U have to try the ube ice cream it’s the best ube I’d ever tasted hands down.

OMG that spam sandwich is something I now dream about. The soft eggs were wild on a sammy. Definitely need a spoon to assist with the eggs. That bread is also to die for.

I went here once and fell in love. I’ve been to a few places that I enjoy but I came back three days in a row to try different sandwiches.

Ordered delivery via Uber Eats. Arrived hot and fresh. Spam sandwich was amazing and worth the hype! Cheese tots were good too; but they lose some of their crispiness during delivery. Would absolutely order again!

We ordered 4 sandwiches (chorizo, paksiw, and two bacon, egg, cheddar), two spuds (cheese and regular), and a pint of ube soft serve. The pandesal buns are larger than normal and the slightly sweet taste is a great complement to the savoury sandwiches. The chorizo reminded me of a spicy longganisa and the paksiw had a perfect flavour profile with slightly sweet and sour. Bacon was perfectly crispy and the scrambled eggs were very fluffy. The spuds were unexpectedly perfect. They were amazingly crispy through the whole meal, even with the cheese. The sauce is slightly spicy and creamy. The ube soft serve was wonderful, with a smooth and creamy texture and a strong ube flavor (like a creamier Ube Fiesta candy). We are already planning the next order.

I got the Packsiw sandwich which was truly excellent. It is sweet soy braised pork on a excellent bun and comes with fried egg. I also ordered the Cajun spuds which were very good. My companion also ordered the chicken lumpia which again was quite good. Limited drinks available- Calamansi, Four Seasons, Orange Juice, bottled water. No coke Pepsi etc. No dining room. A few tables outside of order window. Quick and efficient service.

Great Filipino-inspired sandwiches from the Kuya Ja team. I’ve been a fan of Kuya Ja’s Lechon Belly since they opened, so I was excited to learn they were opening up a new sandwich place in the Kentlands. All the sandwiches are served on a pandesal roll, based on the traditional Filipino bread. Half the menu is Filipino favorites like chorizo, corned beef, and Spam. The other is standard American breakfast sandwich fare like bacon/sausage and egg. The buns are burger-sized and are loaded generously. We had great weather on our visit and enjoyed eating on the patio. Hoping to try the ube soft-serve ice cream on our next visit.
