Another outing with my ladies group. We hit up this place just off Connecticut Ave in NW Washington. Ample seating inside and out. The establishment is very colorful and eclectic in its decor. Quite beautiful, and I loved it.

It’s good. I love that they prepare their black beans from scratch daily and always order the enchiladas with them instead of the refried beans. Their margaritas are top notch. The fried platanos with cream appetizer is very good.

Not shocking that again Laredo gets 5 stars across the board. Legitimately drove across the District (instead of heading home to PG County) to bring my visiting friend here. The mole is incomparable, the margaritas are fantastic, the service is always top shelf. Be sure to try their “homemade” infused tequila. It’s a bit different every time because they change up what they infuse it with.

This place is consistently terrible with regard to service. I have been a few times and each time is worse than the last. I tend to notice that Spanish speaking customers are taken care of more so than others. Service is consistently slow. The food is not great, but the chips (if you can get any) and salsa is great. This place has a goldmine location and they could do SO much better. Each server I have had there has been terrible. They don’t come to the table often and they don’t tend to check on their customers. I am sure this is not all servers, but each one I have ever had this applies to. I am giving it two stars only for the location and potential, but they have a LONG way to go. I have been during peak and off-peak times.
