My wife and I visited the restaurant on Valentine’s Day. Every dish we tried was among the top three in Seattle, in my opinion. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions, which exceeded our expectations. However, the service did not match the same level of excellence as the food and the price.

If you’re looking for a fancy date night or for a place to take your out-of-town parents to dinner, Lark’s 4-course for $120 will definitely impress. Located in Capitol Hill, it’s a great excuse to glam up and enjoy the evening. As you walk in, you are invited to a ceiling of what seems like a sea of warm twinkling lights throughout the dining room next to the busy, yet quiet open kitchen. Lark’s monthly rotating dinner menu features locally-sourced ingredients that highlights the flavors from what the season has to offer. That’s when you know the menu won’t get boring and will reel you in to come back. From start to finish, Lark’s offering showcases an array of dishes bursting with flavors specifically the muscovy duck breast with acorn squash, duck pithivier, porcini jus, and dandelion. Chef’s kiss! It’s the perfect place to show your parents how much of an adult you are

Really great experience! It’s a 4 course selection and there are four options for each course. The menu changes monthly. I think this is a really smart but also delicious way to run a restaurant. I want to go back and try everything and see the new stuff every month! The staff was attentive and sweet. They gave us free tasting appetizers and at the end gave us locally made truffles to take home. Worth the splurge!

Lark is a fantastic Seattle fine dining experience. The location has a super bright and welcoming feel, and the kitchen and bar are open so you can see all the action. Upstairs they have a circular bar for charcuterie and raw bar options. The food is a delicious mix of seasonal local ingredients and northwest classics. The menu changes constantly but I find their salmon dishes are always my favorite. Don’t miss the desserts, they always are great.

tl;dr Beautiful, fresh, inventive food that wasn’t pretentious, heavy, or inconsistent. Somehow the service was even better.

Beautiful restaurant! Dinner was delicious. Their 4 course menu is well thought of and they have delicious vegetarian options in each course. I really enjoyed all the wines in the wine pairing – went really well with the food.

1st time here. The dress code on their website says dressy but they take any customers really. First impression was this is an upscale high-end place. The hostess were very friendly. The menu is ambitious and not at all a budget friendly price point. However there are a lot of interesting dishes.
