Absolutely amazing food. I ordered the calamari and it’s cooked perfect. Not rubbery and overcooked. Not Bland. It’s a flavorful all the food is just absolutely amazing I would definitely recommend anybody looking for just a good meal. And the happy hour of these apps are piece and enough for whole meal. Beyond generous on the amount of food.

So nice! We went on a Friday night, at around 7pm, and they weren’t super busy! They had lovely live jazz, and our waiter, Julio was outstanding!! We had the chicken fettuccine and the chicken lasagna— both delicious with hot fresh bread & olive oil. Lovely setting, great food, impeccable service! Thank you so much!

Food wasn’t good, especially for the price. I spent 40 dollars for this pasta and a diet soda(plus tip) my food didn’t come with bread, soup or salad for 25 plus that’s a little ridiculous..needless to say I went hungry and left severely disappointed.

In short, Larkspur is disappointing and poor value. The atmosphere was a highlight, although a bit dated. The food is severely overpriced for the quality delivered. We tried some of the less expensive options to see if it was worth a return visit. The brussel sprouts were fried well but the honey dominated the flavor of the dressing. The chicken pistachio didn’t deliver any pistachio flavor and was under salted. The chicken itself was dry. The potatoes were also bland. The salmon fettuccine pasta was cooked well, but again pretty bland. We also ordered a few rounds of drinks, they were delivered very late both times and weak. This review probably comes across as harsh, but if your food is good and not great, you should price it appropriately. There’s many superior options here in Wichita that deliver great flavor for less.

Ordered the Pistachio Chicken and this time it was horrible. It took over 30 minutes to get our meal and there were hardly any people there. The pistachio sauce was very greasy and was broken. It didn’t even have pistachios on it. It had an odd taste to it, also. There were two huge pieces of asparagus that were very tough. The drinks were good, though. Our waitor never asked us how our meals were. Been going there for 30+ years and won’t be going back.

Very nice lunch. Quiet, inviting atmosphere and tasty food. We liked the menu as it had offerings we hadn’t seen at other places. Our server/bartender, Chelsea, was busy but attentive and had really great suggestions. We had planned to have sandwiches, but at her suggestion tried the salmon and chicken. We were glad we did! The pistachio chicken was creamy and flavorful and the salmon was perfect – crispy edges and tender middle with a good dill sauce. My friend (who doesn’t usually like potatoes) enjoyed the mashed potatoes and we both loved the asparagus. We also liked the Bloody Marys and chicken satay we had for appetizers. Lovely place! Also, Chelsea said the M-F 3-6 happy hour included 4 appetizers and was very good – so we will try that next! Thanks Chelsea! Her personal service made it a 5 star lunch!

Business dinner in a Monday. The restaurant was not crowded. I made a 6pm reservation and was seated right away. They have anything from pasta to veal. Great spot to eat on patio if weather cooperates!
