As with other posts, there were at least 8 guys behind the counter. I was the only customer. After 5 min, I asked for help. I ordered a slice of pizza with eggplant. Overpriced at >$5, it was the worst pizza I’ve ever tasted. I’m Italian & old enough to have had my fair share of pizza. Sauce was skimpy, it was sour, eggplant tasted old & it was undercooked. After a few bites, I threw it out. I’ll never go there again.

Horrible place there was about 8 people behind the counter and no one decided to take my order. The place is more of a hangout then anything else. Finally after about 6 mins (for a slice) someone asked me what i wanted. Got a Sicilian, it was under cooked and doughy. The guy behind the counter had no problem taking my money then rudely asked if I wanted my change. Definitely wont be back

I’ve been going here since 2004. Today was the first day where I realized there is no respect at this place. I came in today, was behind 1 customer paying for his order. Once I made it to the register (I was the only guy standing up), gentleman (maybe in his 30s Caucasian) decides to walk away from the register to talk to the waitress. Maybe they’re related who knows? I gave them a good minute and even the workers there wouldnt bat an eye at me. I looked left, looked right. There’s no customer service or respect here. I walked away. Was about to order a Gramma Pie and a few side orders but was taken aback at how I was the invisible person at the front register. I would advise to brush up on customer service skills because you just lost a customer and my neighborhood as customers. Best of luck with everything.

Chipotle Chicken pie was absolutely delicious. Staff is really great, the manager Bryan was also really helpful and nice, told me about the selection of slices, his favorites, the whole thing. Definitely the new spot for LI pies!!

I got the Three Layer Ravioli and it was sooooo good! The ravioli filled with cheese, a potato slice on top of that, and a meatball slice on top of that! It was very delicious! I don’t really understand all the one-star reviews. We got a very nice, humorous, caring, kind, and amazing server! This place is good !

I’ve been going to la rosas since 2013… I am a local and the food and service have been terrible the within the last year or so. I want to give them grace because every restaurant is struggling since Covid. However, it is beyond unexceptional to mess up an order every single time. Not only has the food been low quality but the service has not helped at all. Any restaurant owner knows if they mess up they either compensate with extra food, or return of money. But with La rosas they do not do right by their loyal customers and community. I GAVE THIS PLACE 1 LAST SHOT. My family is done ordering here.

The staff is rude. I came in to order food but the staff was soo busy talking to a group of people I had to wait for their conversation to end til I got service. Also the price I paid for the items I ordered did not go together. The pizza was average. Nothing special about it.
