The honey glazed wings, meatballs, and fried chicken are really delicious! The Mac and cheese and the pink Kool-aid are bomb!!! Definitely coming back again!!

First time coming to this place, I loved how crispy and juicy the chicken was, everything was great. Also the service was amazing. Every thing was amazing!!! Will definitely be coming back

You can never go wrong with this golden brown 7up cake. Always made to perfection I’ve never had a problem in 8 years , that almost look like someone planted that .

They gave me a knife to eat my banana pudding with. I ran back in to get a spoon..they didn’t have any. I grabbed a spoon out my car. Took 2 bites of the banana pudding. It was horrible! I threw it in the trash. Will never step foot back in there.

I’m finding it hard to believe that I got my food from the same place as the ppl in the reviews. The mac and cheese seems to consist of butter, noodles, and cheese. Definitely nothing baked about it (which is what makes it soul food) no milk, eggs, rue, or seasoning. The meat selection is very little. I asked about the meatballs and was told they’re made of chicken and beef. After one bite I’m not too sure of that. They seem like you buy them out of the freezer section at the grocery store. Green beans are most likely out of the can which is not a big deal if you season them. I didn’t get the collards because I was certain they would be out of the can as well and that’s a big NO in my book. Oh, and cornbread was not good as well as the stuffing/dressing. The dressing was like mashed potatoes, but soggy. Not what I’d consider soul food. $12.00 later and I’m still hungry.

The food is SO basic. There wasn’t a burnt, in-the-oven-on-broil spot ANYWHERE on the Mac n cheese or yams! Yams were watery and tasted like they came out of the can. The honey wings also were watery and didn’t taste baked. The peach pie was good. Wouldn’t pay $27.05 for this watered down mess again! Hope they were just having a bad day…

Came all the way to the location to a locked door. I even called and no answer. The sign saying if we closed we are sold out means that this can actually happen at any time. I would not waste my time to come out here again…. Smh

I so wanted this place to be good. I’ve tried it before and it was a miss but gave it another try. I received the oxtails nothing but fat seasoning on oxtails and that the rice was very bland purchased the 7 up cake. She stuck it in a microwave to heat it up after coming out of the refrigerator the Mac and cheese I don’t know if it had been there too long but it was very dry.

Like most businesses they start off good then horrible. Gravy is packaged, portions for the price not worth it. She’s very nice but her husband not!!! If you grew up on real soul food you would know better but because of the area there’s not many choices.

I thought I ordered catfish, anyone that eats catfish knows the texture of it. I believe that it’s really Swai, which is a inexpensive man made fish. Disappointed! And yes Laney sweet as pie but Larry gives no eye contact or greeting to customers!
