Did not care for the experience. The food did not meet expectations. The server waited until after we ordered to tell us we had to pre-pay for the food. The bread items was dry and unsatisfactory. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Also the seat was hot.

I went in on a Thursday to place a large order for a brunch on Saturday. I was easily accommodated. The staff communicated with me throughout the process, asking how I wanted it. The order was neatly packed & ready for pickup when I arrived Saturday afternoon and the chef and staff helped me to the car. They gave such a warm, welcoming feeling. My family loved the food! The pans were clean after lol We had salmon cakes, shrimp, grits, eggs, home fries & waffles. All condiments came with the order! 10/10 highly recommend. It’s a diner, not fast food, so of course you’ll have to wait on your order.

I am a coffee drinker, and their coffee was really good. It was smooth, flavorful, in a word great, and the piece of cornbread that comes with every cup was amazing aswell. The prices are reasonable.

Looks like a real soul food spot but that’s about it. First you have to prepay for your food which is insane for a dine in experience. Second service was unorganized and extremely slow. Waited almost a hr and a half for some pretty looking nasty tasting food. They dress the food up but it’s nasty. Dry cheap tasting pancakes, potato salad with frozen peas in it (who does that), ribs tasted old and were smothered in sauce to cover the funky taste. All in all F this place do not waste your money.

Ordered eggs over easy my first time, and they were over cooked. There was no soft yoke. Went back ordered sunny side up and they still over cooked them, no soft yoke. Just seems like they’re not well trained, and don’t know how to cook. Service was nice tho.
