As I mentioned in a previous review, if we tried them again I’d update my review. When a place is known for a specific dish you should definitely order it because omg the chicken here is absolutely delicious. Las Brasas actually sent basically a voucher and wow that was so appreciated so we immediately tried them again. We ordered the white meat chicken, which was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The portion was very large imo and was more than enough food for the two of us. The plantains were so much better than before and the French fries were good too. I would totally recommend giving this place a try!

Went with my family and we had a feast. We started with the appetizers (Ceviche and Anticucho) and then a full chicken family style. I’ve never had chicken so moist and flavorful! We highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving chicken and/or desiring to try some authentic Peruvian food.

We love Peruvian style rotisserie chicken. So we were excited to try this restaurant after reading such great reviews. The service was definitely fast and friendly. Our wait time was short. We felt the menu was well priced and offered a nice selection. We enjoyed the flavor and tenderness of the chicken. Not the best we’ve had though definitely one of the better one’s in Houston. The fried plantains were also delicious and done right. The disappointment for us was the sauces and our side dishes. Such an important part of the meal. These definitely didn’t hit the spot. Our fried rice was unfortunately bland and dry. Our fries were barely warm, and appeared to be a combination of old stale fries fresh with some new fries on the top. The restaurant also could be much cleaner. It felt dirty. Our search for the best Peruvian chicken restaurant in Houston continues! We would visit again if close by, though wouldn’t go out of our way to come here.

Really good halal joint for some charcoal bbq. The charcoal chicken flavour is quite unique and is very yummy. The chicken is flavoured nicely and is very tender which makes for a good eating experience. The green sauce is quite unique and is a good touch overall as well. Tried only the takeout option so can’t comment on the restaurant experience but the food is solid. Recommend getting the fried rice as well.

This location on Eldridge is really delicious. To begin I must say the service is excellent no complaints whatsoever…and now for the best part…THE FOOD!!! Now I’m not 100% sure if that rice they have with chicken is fried but it’s DAMN GOOD!!! LITERALLY hands down the best chicken and rice I have ever had. Another item they have there that’s 10x better than a food that Salvadorians serve is those fried plantains…finger lickin good. The chicken is by far also the best chicken a las brasas I have ever had. It’s very juicy the skin is nice and crispy and the flavor is amazingly delicious. I will most definitely be returning and I highly recommend this location for their great service and delicious food. I recommend the surprise bag from the app TO GOOD TO GO.
