Great food. I love the pupils. I ordered the Yuca con chicharon on Saturday and it was made to perfection. I ordered it today and the pork was overcooked. So I guess its hit or miss. But the pupusas were the same!

Authentic Mexican restaurant. Had the pupusas, Carne Asadas and chips. The Pupusas were delicious and filling. The salsa that came along with the chips was really refreshing, one of the best salsas I’ve had. Carne Asadas was flavourful and portion was huge. Prices are affordable as well

We just had an awesome vegetarian dinner of a chile relleno super burrito, a variety of vegetarian pupusas, and the plantain empanadas for dessert. All were delicious, I’m stuffed and we have leftovers. Service was friendly, the place was clean and roomy (we ordered to go but waited at a table for about 10 minutes for the food to be ready) and the prices were cheaper than the go-to mission burrito places. Will be back!

Good vegetarian options such as different flavors of papusas (loroco, zucchini and cheese) – and a chile relleno burrito for $7.75! Where else are tasty burritos still that cheap in SF? My dude got the plantain empanadas, which were stuffed with rice pudding – if you’re a cinnamon person, you’ll like them. Friendly staff, clean (if spartan) dining area, local vibe. We’re eating our way down Mission Street in Bernal, and this place was a pleasant surprise – how did we miss it for so many years?

I think the lady is nice there but the guy that works there needs work on his customer service skills

I always get the plate 2 pupusas revueltas cheese and chicharron. Including rice and beans. Plus agua de Jamaica.

This place doesn’t give you anything. No lime, no water, no repollo para las pupusas. And they wouldn’t even give me a box to take my pupusa home. Just a piece of foil.

If I could rate this place less than one star, I would. The horchata was absolutely awful. It tasted like some undrinkable, awful powder mix . The food came out, and it was good, but not memorable. Only little bit of cortido y salsa were served with the pupusas. There were only two other tables filled in the restaurant, yet flagging our waitress down was like mission impossible (we just wanted to ask for some more cortido and salsa).
