Great chunky guacamole with plenty of lime and cilantro. Red salsa is also good with house-made chips. Chips weren’t hot but were crispy and tasty. Didn’t have a veggie enchilada option, but they made special for me. Very good. The plate stayed hot throughout the meal, which was a nice touch / outcome.

What a delicious dining experience! I had read many positive reviews and they didn’t steer me wrong. Within a minute of being seated a basket of in restaurant made chips and a carafe of salsa was placed at my table. I was slow to place my order because I couldn’t decide what to choose, but my waitress was patient and checked on me several times until I was ready to order. For my lunch I had an order of guacamole, the pork taco, and the fish taco. Both tacos were well seasoned and tasty. I was originally going to order 3 tacos, but 2 with the guacamole and chips was plenty of food. The guacamole was full of flavor and had a little kick to it. I loved it. As you can see in the pic this wasn’t the whipped guacamole, but good sized chunks of avacado with tomatoes onion and seasonings.

I used to love this place. I live close and my fiance and I would eat here at least once or twice a week for probably a year now. Our past four visits, we noticed we kept getting sat in an empty back room by ourselves. We didn’t really think anything of it until like the 3rd time in a row we were sat back there alone and noticed they never put anyone else back there. Just us in an empty room several visits in a row. As I started to pay attention this time, every single person that was seated while we ate was in the front main dining area. We tried again today and sure enough, they walked us past all the other guests and empty tables to the completely empty back room again. When I asked if we could be seated at one of the several empty tables in the normal dining area like everyone else I was told “no, this is better here”.

Everything at Las Delicias is always high quality and excellent tasting. Prices are very low considering our current inflation. I wish I could get them to open one in St. Louis. Don’t forget to grab a bag of their tasty chips to enjoy for the following week!

This is one of the best Mexican food places in the area.Food is really good. Some of the best chips and salsa I’ve ever had. Prices are cheap compared to most other Mexican restaurants. The salsa is just spicy and chunky enough for me. When you go in ask for Taniaa (I think I got the name right) to be your server, and she’ll take good care of you.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in East Memphis, hands down. It’s popular for a reason. There is good, fresh guacamole and queso, the rice is perfect, and the entrees are well-made. My date and I both had burritos, which were excellent, mine being vegetarian and had sliced avocado and veggies. Will definitely be back.

Haven’t had an opportunity to visit the restaurant yet but bought their special on a Saturday at the Ag Center Farmer’s Market. Guacamole, salsa, chips, and Margarita mix for $25.00! Awesome deal. We enjoyed all of the food and the margarita mix was awesome. No powdered mix here! Also, my youngest son’s favorite Mexican restaurant. Update: visited the Quince Road location and it was a perfect, perfect meal. Guacamole so good, chunky, fresh with just lime juice and a sprinkling of pico de gallo. Salsa and chips, margaritas, everything just spot on. I had the chicken tortilla soup, one of the best I’ve ever eaten and a pork tamale. Oh, my, those tamales and the sauces. Yum. Husband had enchilada suizas and pork tamales. It was a perfect lunch with smiling faces helping us.

I have been twice recently, and it has gone down greatly…they have deviated from the tried-and-true Mexican restaurant formula. Instead of a very long menu with tons of choices, their menu is now very stripped-down, just one sheet, front and back. There are no entrees/plates like you find at similar places.

Food was good however our server wasn’t the best!! I had to ask for chips and salsa, and utensils. She never checked on me and my daughter. Hopefully next time the service will be better.
