I ordered the Molcajete. It wasn’t to bad it came in a cauldron dish with shrimp, a huge shrimp, steak, pork, a nopal, rice, beans, and guacamole & sour cream. It was good and a fun experience. Also, they have a bar in the back, music, and a pool table.

The El burro Loco was fantastic. It was big enough for 2 meals.

Very yummy food! They have the best chile rellenos that I’ve eaten in a very long time! The cheese enchilada and refried beans are also tasty!! I definitely will be back!

I like this place. Had the Chile Verde which is my typical litmus test for a Mexican food place. It was pretty good.. Could use to be a little more spicy. But that’s just my preference. Staff is great and even better story… They opened during COVID and doing well . Congrats!

Food is overpriced for what it is, very bland and underwhelming.

If I could, I’d give it more stars. Went there on a lunch break, and the staff was so warming and wonderful.. The food tasted absolutely amazing and we didn’t have to wait long. I absolutely recommend Las Esmeraldas if you are looking for a great Mexican meal!!

Food here is always bad. Beans were stale and chile colorado looked like it was frozen and thawed in the microwave.

As a güero who has lived in Mexico- this place is the real deal. They have amazing, authentic, delicious food that reminded me so much of my times in Mexico.

I had not properly eaten in days and was still feeling weak, but on the rebound after being under the weather. To make up for missing Cinco de Mayo I went here for the first time. What brought me was the closeness to my location and a photo in their images of rice, beans, and quesadilla with a bunch of guac and sour cream. I ate half of it and was full and then ordered more rice and beans for the other half to go. Great experience. My host was a very nice and helpful man, but he also wasn’t hovering which is always nice.
