Craving breakfast…I came across Las Famosas de Jose. This place offers both eat in and drive thru service. Being a Texan, I was craving for something with eggs, potatoes and chorizo. So the drive thru attendant made me a chorizo,

This is a must if you want amazing Mexican food. Stopped in twice while doing laundry and again the next day. I’ll be grabbing another meal before I leave as well.

Eh. Tacos were very greasy and only had one tortilla each. Horchata was watery. Al pastor could have been anything, no pina or other clear flavor. Salsa was very spicy.

Home of the most amazing breakfast burritos we’ve ever had! My husband and I stopped in before continuing on a long road trip and hadn’t read the sign that said “guaranteed 3 pounds” until after we were sitting down and each of us were holding our own giant burrito. (We each ate most of it and saved the last third or so until we arrived in Albuquerque about ten hours later!)

My first time out from California to this food spot. Had the burrito pastor, the meat was good, but that’s about it. The Tortilla was dry that it was cracking, reminding of the first time I’ve ever tried cooking in my life, the cook definitely needs more practice if he is putting out dry Tortillas. When I first came into the shop, it looked pretty clean, until the homeless started arriving and chilling in the place. One homeless literally goes to the open salsa bar, grabs a ton jalapeños and chillis on a tray and starts eating and making a mess. The customer will be going in after to eat from that open condiment bar.

Ordered Breakfast chorizo burrito. JUST NASTY .. nothing good to say about it. The burrito was full of Soggy French fries that were full of grease, barely had any egg or chorizo. Absolutely no seasoning or flavor.

Tbh I couldn’t really handle the attitude in drive thru today the lady was having a horrible day or something. And yea, this is the last I’m order from here. The guacamole was expired and the beans didn’t tasted fresh no more. I’m done with the carne asada fries last time they didn’t give me carne asada they gave me cabeza and this time too. And I saw them use the microwave for the fries. Shrimp burrito was horrible the shrimp had it’s shell and the guacamole was bad and over powering the burrito. My son’s tacos the tortillas was dry & hard seem like they really did one on me today Used to be a fan of this place lost a good customer

Friendly staff and the food is pretty good here. I enjoyed the breakfast burrito (ham and bacon) and the asada fries are okay. I will say the guacamole has a very sour taste to it which didn’t sit well with me but the flavor of the asada itself is pretty good. So many options available here at this restaurant. The white sauce is the spiciest salsa here. I did not expect it to be but for those coming here for the first time like I have, that’s their spiciest sauce. For my SF Bay Area folks think of the sauce similar to what they serve at Iguana’s out in San Jose. But the other salsas are good as well, except for the very bright green one, that one I did not like as much. Overall it’s a pretty good restaurant and I will come here again to try the other things they have.

I had a Hawaiian Torta, it was ok, nothing special, but, maybe other dishes are much delicious, because they have a lot of options for you.
