Just got back from another great experience as Las Islas Del Mar with my friend Liz. Fish taco was beyond my expectations and cerviche (spelling?). We’ve had most of the dishes on the menu by now, and had no disappointments. Cerviche is so tasty I had to buy some to take home to others. Great and prompt service. You know you’re in the right place when Spanish soccer is on the TV (in Spanish) and the clientele has hair more black than coal!

I’m surprised there’s not a review yet! (there are some on Yelp)

Only giving it 4, because it starts with tacos, if you can’t accomplish this, you better close. Want to come back for a few more things. This is more of a seafood Mexican restaurant, but I went for the tacos, asada and pastor. They were great. Friendly staff/owners. I will go back for sure.

Garlic shrimp was very tasty. I enjoyed my meal overall. My only hold back on 5 stars is not having a cheese dip. I always always want some queso blanco with my mexican.

Four stars for freshness. We sat down and received a stack of freshly made tostada rounds with some Ceviche and spicy green sauce. Next we ordered some tequila cocktails that were well made. The waitress was supper helpful when we ordered because the menu has traditional food from the region they are from and traditional Mexican food. I order a Pastor-Pork Burrito that was huge with rice, avocado, lettuce, cabbage, beans and pork. I did the dinner with the rice and beans. Wow house made beans and the rice was perfect…light, fluffy and fresh rice. My wife ordered the CAMARONES EL PATRÓN made with fresh shrimp, tons of real cheese not canned processed cheese. She does not care for rice and loved the rice they served with the dinner. Nice place, clean and family friendly. We noticed they have a little bar with maybe 6 or 8 stools on the way out. This is a must try place if you have not yet.

Excellent Caribbean food. Great seafood tacos. Menu is a little confusing and staff was not a tremendous help figuring it out. Food and prices make it all worthwhile.

Many options on the menu but seafood is their specialty. My favorite so far is the Camarones a la Plancha (large peeled shrimp in their special sauce). Price are very reasonable as well.

I really like the food, but ask every time I go, I ask why there is no sea food options on the kids menu. It is a sea food restaurant???? My children love sea food, and I have to order this huge meal for them, or give up mine to feed my kids.

Worst place ever… they take forever to bring the food and when they do it is wrong you then you talk to the manager and she said that there is nothing that she can do that we have to pay for it even when you told her that you asked before ordered finally she agreed to change it .. then she gets very upset/mad and says that next time not to order that again because she is not taking that off again, and the worst thing is that they make the waitress pay for it.

Amazing food and service. And they give you plenty of food for the price. I can see why everyone kept telling me that I needed to try it.
