Great location in downtown Columbia and a stone’s throw from Peace Park. The fish tacos are *chefs kiss* and the patio is lively on hot; sunny days. Drinks could be stronger and the mix for the margs doesn’t quite hit the spot…just another reason, to take a shot!

Waited 30 minutes for a drink. Got it and it was wrong. Got our food at the hour mark. Again, they didn’t bother to listen and my friends order was wrong. Got the bill, it was wrong. Sent it back to fix, got it again, it was wrong, sent it a 3rd time and paid and left. Never again. I got a lame excuse they were busy. All of the above doesn’t really add up to busy except maybe the food lateness. However, looking around it wasn’t full.

The other locations are AMAZING, but the downtown location is absolutely terrible. Will put you on hold if you are ordering pick for over 20 minutes, and will never get back to you if you have a complaint. I have grown up here in Columbia and have climbed my ranks through bars and restaurants so I understand the customer service side of everything. I ordered door dash and the issues with them was taken care of but the food quality needed to just be mentioned. I wasn’t looking for money or “atta boy” all I wanted to do was to let them know their food quality was well bellow their standards. The chips were stale, the salsa was a quarter full, and the quesidilla was so watery it was unbeatable. I hope you all take my words a d hear me, I LOVE your food but your downtown is terrible. Please please fix it as I work a few blocks away. Your manager is not qualified. If that was the manager who I spoke to.

Pretty standard Mexican fare, but nonetheless it’s a Columbia staple everyone should try. The best thing to order are the margs (it’s in the name after all), but I’ve never had a bad dish from here. While it’s not the best ever, the food is flavorful and the portions large. I’ve never had a bad experience with the service, and the waitstaff are all great. On the other hand, the atmosphere of the restaurant isn’t the greatest. The decorations are bland, and there’s not much in the way of scenery. However, if you’re looking for a place with good Mexican food at reasonable prices and cheap margaritas, then Las Margs should definitely be on your list.

The man sitting us was very hateful, he was a manager or something. Told us we couldn’t sit down till we had out whole group. Super hateful, did I say that? And then sat us in a spot with no fans or ac so when we asked to move to the room with fans right next to us, the waiter obliged, but when the manager came over started shaking his head in disgust at the fact we had moved. Terrible first expierence and they need better management. I work in the resteraunt industry, never had a manager who would act like that.

Our waitress had poor customer service skills and started out the night by giving us rude stares. Then lied to our faces about what time the kitchen and bar closes. When I went to the bar to ask for another drink the lady accused my friend of being over intoxicated to compensate for her lies when my friend had one drink. Furthermore, when my friends went inside to ask for a manager…. She went up to me and accused my friends and I of not paying for our meal when in reality we were just paying up at the desk because we didn’t trust her enough with our credit cards. Then the manager reasoned it with “she’s having a long day” and he still expected us to tip. We didn’t tip because it wasn’t earned, and my friends and I usually tip 20% every time.

The past couple times I’ve tried to come here with my family for dinner there’s always been some sort of dilemma of them closing the outdoor patio just because and them not allowing dogs on the outdoor patio which I’ve never, ever heard of. Sounds a bit outrageous so we just left.
