This is one of my favorite places for lunch. They have a good variety of lunch specials, portions are good, and the food is delicious. The chips are fried fresh and the salsa is smooth with a kick. We tried the desserts for the first time yesterday and quickly realized we should have ordered them a long time ago! The chocolate layer cake is decadent and big enough for a table of 4 to share.

We have tried getting take out from here multiple times over the years. Each time they mess something up, the food is mediocre, and we regret our decision. Tonight my husband ordered chicken fajitas and got half the amount of food other Mexican restaurants serve and it had one shrimp and some steak mixed in. I ordered pollo loco and it was watery with zero cheese dip on it which is the best part of pollo loco. I ordered an extra bag of chips for the large cheese dip I ordered and got home to find no cheese dip. I called the restaurant and without hesitation the man who answered the phone told me the guy taking the order had not included the cheese dip…I didn’t get a receipt so I don’t know if I paid for it or not. We always say we won’t eat here again but this truly did it for us!

So I called to order food was placed on hold by the new guy working there which he never came back to the phone after 20 Iminutes on hold drove up there thinking maybe they were extremely busy and giving them every 0ppurtunity that I could to fix the situation I walk in the restaurant talk to a young girl whom I have never seen before explained to her that I had been on hold an was still on hold after driving to the restaurant to which she replied he will take yourorder I waited another 10 minutes no one else acknowledged me or cared to wait on me so I walked out called El Patron in Opelika they answered didn’t put me on hold and I ordered my food go to EL Patron do not order from here.

I absolutely love their wings! The sauce I get is a mixture of mild and BBQ, topped with lemon pepper. Get them extra crispy along with a side of fries. Yeeesssss!!!
