Great Mexican food with wonderful wait service. They have a spacious patio that is dog friendly. Happy to see a favorite Mexican restaurant open in Boerne. They have delicious puffy tacos along with their enchiladas. They will make lower carb accommodations and give grilled veggies instead of beans and rice.

This Las Palapas for some reason falls short from the one down on I-10, way short. They keep screwing up the orders. Latest Example: I did not get any tortillas with my Fajitas after the gentleman told me he checked everything. There has never been a time that I do not have to call and let them know what happened. It get frustrating and I feel there should not be a problem with this. Also, there tortillas are way smaller than the other one at Dominion.

It was my first time trying out this location and I was so excited. During fiesta I stopped to get a chicken on a stick. I work so much I didn’t have time to actually go to fiesta and I live in Boerne. I started eating it on the way home and noticed the texture was so off. I looked and was appalled that the inside of the chicken wasn’t cooked throughly. I felt queasy and sure enough got a bad stomach ache. I called and spoke to the manager who said he would reimburse my whole receipt. Okay awesome. But the charge posted to my account. I called my bank and asked them to verify with the manager that I indeed should of gotten my money back. Just recently I was notified by my bank that they never confirmed that. I called the restaurant and was told I would get a call back. Nothing. Very disappointing experience to say the least.

The food is fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back next time we are around. The service was friendly and the price was just right. Fresh food takes love and time to be cooked, so make sure you are not in a rush for some tasty food.
