We decided to try this restaurant for the first time. We have been to many Mexican restaurants in Rome and found only three that served food that tasted somewhat like Mexican food. At Las Palmas the chips and salsa were good, but we noticed that once you ate the large chips on top, most were small pieces underneath. I ordered a beef taco salad, my wife had the lunch special that was a beef taco and beef enchilada. My taco salad was a shaped tortilla with plain ground beef (no flavor) topped with some lettuce, crumbled cheese and a glob of sour cream. I had to dump my little bowl of salsa in it to add a little flavor. My wife’s meal was about the same; some bland ground beef in a tortilla with a little lettuce on top. The enchilada had ground beef inside a tortilla with some gravy on top. We were very disappointed with the meal and will not return.

This is one of our favorite places. Kansas was our server and she was AMAZING! This girl was on point and timely! Everything was perfect and never asked for a refill. Make sure to ask for Kansas, she is the only one we ask for.

Greeted kindly and seated promptly! The service was pretty good. The chips and salsa were brought out very quickly. Our server seemed a bit slow but she was very helpful with the menu items and suggestions. The pasta was delicious!! I couldn’t believe it. Would reorder again! I never would have thought to enjoy a pasta at a Mexican restaurant. Would return and recommend.

Treat yourself to Guacamole Mexico not only for the deliciousness but also for entertainment. It’s like a show in itself! Everything is great when it comes to the food.
