Best Cuban sandwich I’ve had in a while. Great tasting with a generous amount of meat & cheese for a ridiculously low price.

Have been wanting to try this place for so long because of reviews. Apparently the restaurant is closed and it’s just the food truck now. The deviled crab was delicious. I got the Miami Cuban which was very disappointing. Apparently the people leaving reviews have never had a Cuban in Miami. I really wanted to like it but no.

Still the best roast pork in Tampa. Since his unfortunate fire in the restaurant, he’s been using the food truck exclusively and puts out terrific food that is as wonderful as ever. The portions are huge. the food is perfectly cooked and it’s tastes wonderful.

Great little Cuban cafe. Serving traditional Cuban dishes with that authentic mom n pop taste. The food is Amazing and always fresh . The cafe serves authentic Cuban expressos and some of the best homemade sangria. Please consider this is not an extravagant restaurant, this is an amazing Cuban take-out joint in the better part of Tampa. As for the cafe itself it’s very clean and modern.

Awesome Cuban sandwich, and HUGE. Literally got 2 meals out of one sandwich. The beef empanadas were really good, stuffed potato was okay. And the plantains were divine.

Good authentic Cuban cuisine. We started with the yucca fries which were good; and deviled crab croquettes which I didn’t care for they had a canned tomato sauce flavor. I had the grilled chick breast with sautéed onions which surprisingly was juicy. The tostones with mojo sauce was my favorite! My wife has the shredded beef which she enjoyed. Her black beans were really flavorful. We will definitely be returning.

Wonderful dining experience. I had read about the win for the best Cuban in Tampa – and in my experience, that is deserved. Chock full of delicious meat, the roast pork is a standout. Gooey with swiss cheese, and the right amount of mustard. Kudos for pressing it correctly – soft, with a bit of butter on the outside. NOT hammered crispy like a panini.

Las Palmas (Food Truck) has the very BEST Cuban Sandwich in Tampa, PERIOD! I ordered a couple of them today and couldn’t be happier. They are EXTREMELY flavorful; the prices are reasonable, and the owner couldn’t be a nicer guy! The sandwiches are very large in size. I could only eat half of one at one sitting. I also ordered the black beans and yellow rice for a separate side dish, and they were incredible! Best I’ve had since I can’t remember when! People- support businesses like Las Palmas or they will cease to be able to stay in business. If this place were to close, where in New Tampa could we get such a delicious Cuban Sandwich as well as other delights? I plan on coming here more often. It’s too hot to cook, the prices are great, and the food is plentiful and delicious! What more could anyone ask for? Try Las Palmas and you’ll be a lifelong customer!

This is my favorite Cuban spot. Wonderful quality. It’s better than the places I’ve been to in south Tampa. Highly recommend.
