Went for a late dinner around 9:30 and it says it closes at 11. I wanted a small dinner before going out at night. Ordered two tacos and the tortilla was very thick like a popusa. The salsa that came with the tacos barely was enough for one. It came in a small plastic container that was filled 1/4 of the way with salsa. Tacos were expensive for what it was. Service was ok. It took a while for someone to come and take our orders. It was hard to get someone’s attention to get another beer. We received the check without being asked if we wanted anything else. It felt like they were kicking us out even if it was only 10:30 when we were leaving.

It’s OK. The place has a good feeling, very well decorated, they have daily specials and the menu has variety. We had Parrilla and it was OK, judge yourself by the pictures. I am sure other items in the menu are better.

Great place to eat but the music is too damn loud. Even with Bose noise cancelling it was still to loud. Almost left probably won’t eat here again.

Ok, I eat a LOT of Mexican food. This place, the food is perfect. I got enchiladas verdes and tacos since it was my first time. The chorizo taco alone could make this place successful. Everything else was wonderful. The pics of my plate should be evidence enough. I got three enchiladas. The first one and the chorizo taco didn’t last until I got my phone out.

This is my new favorite place for some authentic Mexican food. Service was excellent the bathrooms were clean. The food was delicious! Chips and gauc were almost a meal alone!

This was one of my favorite spots. Las Tapatias was legit! Then I go today and notice a completely different menu and they were bought out by Costa Del Mar. I wasn’t very wow’d. It wasn’t terrible but I’m not opposed to finding a new Mexican restaurant either. We do love some of the staff because they’re still there but I’d have to say I’m disappointed. If anyone knows where the old crew/cooks went please post!!

Horrible service. Asked for a water while looking through the drink menu. After asking 5 more times and an hour later, finally received one. I ordered another beer and was never served it, it took me after 15 minutes and watching the waitress take orders and serve other tables beers for me to go to the bar to request the beer. When it came to the checks, it was split between 3 people. We explained and she wrote down what went with each person. She brought over only 2 checks (not 3), there was an extra beer on one of them and none of the items were on the right checks. For a party of 3, they put on a mandatory 18% gratuity. When i signed my receipt I subtracted part of that tip and they still charged my bank account a higher amount. I was beyond surprised to be forced to pay gratuity, especially with such horrible service. Would not recommend going here, not worth the time, money or food.

I do not recommend. Service was horrible. Music is way too loud, so you can’t hold a conversation with your friends or family. Took a long time to bring check and then check automatically had an 18% tip included… no wonder they didn’t care about their service.
