Holy shirt this place is great. I honestly feel like they are under-selling themselves because the food is so low priced.

Los Tapatias was recommended by a lovely Lady who said their fried mojarra fish was a favorite. We got there past 7PM for our first try and sadly no fish left. Oh well, my female companion ordered 2 Ceviche Tostadas, under $10 both? She liked the way it was presented, all dicing small while nice amount. She added extra hot sauce as she enjoyed one. Gave me the second one, and even though it was good enough, I found the food a tad above average. Tamale dry, $4.99?

Tasty authentic mexican cuisine at a fair price. Expect to pay around $10 to $15 per person for lunch. Good portions served hot and fresh. Lunch time can get busy so expect a delay between 11:30am to 1pm. The chips and salsa are complimentary along with a great salsa bar. After 15 plus visits my experience of Las Tapatias is consistently positive. It’s one of my favorite Mexican food restaurants in the area.

My first time at this restaurant and it was delicious! You have to order, pay and find a table. There weren’t a lot of people so lots of tables to choose from. We ordered tacos de asada, California fries, tacos dorados de papa, California burrito and tacos de birria. Everything was soo good! They have lots of salsas to choose from. And Aguas frescas. They also have tables outside. Overall great service and awesome food. I would definitely go back and recommend it.

Great little stop on my trip through California. The food was fantastic, I had the two tacos and was great. The salsa bar was excellent, and the service and restaurant in general was great.

So good. Being from San Diego I find it really hard to find Mexican food in NorCal that compares to SoCal. This place is actually a cut above the stuff back home. Will definitely be back. I hear the fish is awesome.

Reviewing after 2 times eating here, wife had the pastor Sopes which were bomb and the right bite for Sopes. I yet again got the Diabla Shrimp (#1). It is worth every penny – Flavor town and spicy enough to make your nose run in the best kind of way – shrimp is high quality and just cooked perfectly. The beans and rice are spot on too. Everything here is just so fresh. Can’t go wrong with aguas frescas either. Dinner weekday not busy at all

The worst part of eating here is how uncomfortably full I make myself. We’ve tried the enchiladas, nachos grande, chimichanga, tacos, and chili rellano and all were amazing! As far as their meats go, we tried the puerco verde, pollo verde, pastor, and carnitas. Again, all were amazing! We also got their aqua frescas, the pineapple mango, jamica, and horchata. I had to push my drink away from me because I almost finished it before my meal arrived. I highly suggest trying this place out!
