They have terrible customer service. My bf went in today and the front counter lady allowed someone to steal his order that was already paid for. They looked through receipts because they didn’t believe him and they realized he was right after he had been there 45 minutes. They remade the food and stated they would give him a free drink for his troubles and then turned around and wanted to charge him for the drink when he was leaving. They also must have new cooks and staff, because we used to love to eat there and would go often and after today we’ll never eat there again. The tomatoes they put in our tortas were bad and made us sick. It’s sad because this was my go to place and now never again.

Took my family who is visiting from California to check this place out. The cooks made the BEST TORTAS; the favorite choice was the güera, very flavorful. Now the customer service was not great. The fresh waters were not very fresh. You had to pay extra for ice($1.50), we asked for a water cup ($1.00). – Vega Food customer service

Agree with reviews here, really good authentic Mexican sandwich! Plenty of seating, clean and friendly staff, cashier was helpful and spoke some English. I got the perrona torta and a real coke, pretty good! You should check it out!

The food is a little bit expensive but it’s delicious. Menu is long but because it has basic ingredients with all combinations possible. No vegetarian options, and if you ask to just put beans and vegetables to a torta, they see you weird and ask you several times if that is what you want. Of course, they charge you as a normal torta, so what I do is order any torta and ask to put meat on a side so I can eat it and my wife can have her veggie torta.

Great tortas and aguas frescas! All their tortas are delicious. I’ve had the Güera, the Colorado and one other that I don’t recall. Don’t skip the Chipotle sauce or the jalapeños! Can order on the side. Their agua dé fresa is phenomenal. Can order ahead on line if you are short on time. Limited inside seating especially with Covid but dine in is available.

I really hate to say that the quality has gone down over the years. This place used to be my favorite place to get big tasty tortas. Now they have gotten thinner and less tasty. I understand the price of everything is going up but the tastes should stay close to the same. I ordered tortas Friday night got home started to enjoy it just to find egg shells in my torta. Mind you I didn’t even order one that had egg also the shells were in both halves of the torta. I’m writing this now because I finally was going to eat my other half of my torta and found more shells. $15 dollars down the drain.
