We decided to eat here after searching “seafood near me” on google. We viewed lots of different restaurant menus and really liked the wide variety of options (especially seafood options) that Lasouli’s had. The prices were great, the ratings were really good so we gave it a try.

I loved everything about my experience at Lasouli’s Seafood Company. The owner Chef Latoya is amazing! We had the lobster and snow crab plate…BANGING! Her sauce adds an extra kick. And the Swamp juice was very good. You can have it made with tea or lemonade. I had the lemonade Swamp juice. 10 out of 10 would recommend and come again.

This restaurant has some growing pains to get past. I imagine a lot of the mistakes they made were due to their newness given that they opened in 2022. Though, these mistakes still made for an unenjoyable experience. I ordered the lobster roll (or lobster poboy), which was served cold. I assumed it was supposed to be served hot/fried, though when I asked one of the servers, he said it comes cold. When I received my receipt, it showed that I requested it to be served cold which I didn’t. I confirmed with the hostess who took our order that it could have indeed been served hot as I originally wanted. I have no idea why she assumed I wanted it cold. The meal was also supposed to be served with hush puppies. They apparently ran out and said “there weren’t any at the store” which leads me to believe that they don’t make their hush puppies in house, which is a small red flag to me. I asked if I could get extra fries instead, though they didn’t bring that out with my meal originally. The BIGGEST insult on the experience was that the price on the menu didn’t match the updated prices. The menu said $14.99 when the actual price was $24.99! When I asked about it, they said that they just didn’t update the menu and apologized. Didn’t offer to return the money either. They need to get it together!

This spot is the cutest hidden gem in west palm beach especially if you love to support local and small businesses! The chef and owner is so sweet and personable. Her food was incredible and we can’t wait to go back. We had the fried grouper with seafood fried rice and hush puppies. We are definitely going to come back for the snow crab!
