My husband and I found this restaurant and what a gem it turned out to be. Nice decor, clean and the staff was friendly and its easy to find. My husband ordered the Ribeye Steak with Risotto and potatoes, he thought it was very good. I had the macadamia crusted Trout. It was soooo good. I also had potatoes and asparagus. We had their Chocolate Love Ice Cream which was very good.

Heard about this place from Mountain Moss Inn owner and we went last minute without reservations. We came in at 5:45 and it wasn’t too busy yet and the host was very helpful. We we’re seated inside and our server Katie recommended the trout and Indian Platter—both excellent! We started with the spinach salad and it was fresh and delicious. We finished with desserts—beignets with huckleberry sauce and the chocolate bread pudding, which we both loved! Interior has a very cool rustic vibe and service was wonderful!

One of the best burgers i’ve ever had, and definitely the best I had in Whitefish (apologies to the Bulldog, their food was great too). Super nice atmosphere too, and was less than 5 minutes from our Airbnb.

What a wonderful dining experience! This was our first time at The Last Chair, and if we were local it wouldn’t be the last. The menu isn’t extensive, but it certainly doesn’t need to be with the variety and the amazing quality of the food. They do have plenty of options for everyone from the starters, sandwiches, and full entrees. They also have an large wine selection. We ordered the fish dinner and the yak burrito. EXCELLENT! Great job, chef! The service was also amazing! Personal, attentive, and responsive! Really can’t say enough good things about our experience at The Last Chair!

We were able to get seated without a reservation early, at about 5:35pm. The service was awkward and felt muted. But the food was fantastic, tasted good and was a reasonable price for a resort town.

We came here for my husbands birthday dinner and absolutely loved it. We ordered the totchos, trout and bison ragu. Everything was flavorful and fresh. They also have a great wine and beer selection as well as a nice outdoor patio.

Friendly place with staff that were kind enough to accommodate us. Be ready for some funky fusion with some traditional dishes! I had the almond-crusted trout, and I LOVED it! My husband ordered pork chops with their mole sauce on the side for me to try. Being Hispanic, I like to test everyone’s version. Note to the chef; I’ve never found a mole sauce I enjoyed as much as yours. I liked that the chocolate flavor wasn’t so prominent (most people feel strongly in the other direction of that, though). Next time, I suggest using it on a vegetarian or beef dish. It was a little strong for the pork but amazing with the veggies.

It was not as great as I was expecting it to be based on other reviews. The place is very nice and has a lot of parking. The staff are professional. There was not much to the experience that made us feel like we should come back. The mains were good but not satisfying the hype nor the bill. The chicken in the chicken and waffles dish was quite good. Where this place shines is the dessert options – delicious. The beignet, crem brulé and chocolate bread pudding were all so good.

Had dinner tonight with my youngest home from college. Marguerite made our reservation on the phone, navigating the two big parties they had on the list. We had the best server, Allie, who treated us with all the specials and a special request, horseradish! Very professional and the food was outstanding! Lovely night. Thank you for the great atmosphere, great hostess- superb dinner and service.
