If you’re ever in the mood for some authentic Puerto Rican and Latin food, you have to try Latin Quarters!! Que Rico!! When you’re seated they’ll serve a delicious cup of soup and some fried plantain chips. It’s like being over Abuela’s (grandma’s) house. My fiancée and I both ordered the Steak Mofongo (smashed plantains) with two sides. I had salad & fried yuca and he had arroz con gandules (rice and pigeon peas) & fried yuca. Everything was so fresh and flavorful! This is our second time there and we’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area!!

Latin Quarters has easily become a household favorite for us. Anytime we’re in Sarasota we find ourselves frequenting this restaurant for their very tasty home-cooked meals. These are meals that feel like your mom or grandma is cooking them. They have daily lunch specials for a very reasonable price. I’m hungry just thinking about it right now. Guess I’ll head over and get my fix… Lol. This is a great homestyle restaurant with awesome hospitality and very good food. I’d highly recommend it and you won’t regret it.

First time at Latin Quarters, we enjoyed our lunch. My only complaint was no free refills on ice tea. Free refills on coke though, never been to a restaurant where they charge for ice tea refills. Nor did I see that listed on menu and the waitress didn’t mention either. 9.00 for ice tea is ridiculous. We’ll be back, but water next time.

Went to see the band that plays there on Friday nights to celebrate my bday. What an amazing time we had, band was awesome, food was great, they did a birthday dessert and everyone sang! So much fun! Will definitely be going back soon! Music was so good, we danced the night away!

Went in for some salsa dancing and Latin food. Was surprised to hear a jazz band playing some great jazz instead. No dance floor was set up but did enjoying relaxing to the music. Tried some new dishes which were great. You will enjoy eating here.
