Food was good just the red snapper was overcooked, they forgot my tostones and brought me french fried, but the waitress brought the tostones eventually. I will come back, still was good food and we stopped late night and they cooked for us instead of closing so I will give it another shot.

This place is okay but I don’t think it’s worth the money. The food wasn’t bad, but not anything to praise. Taste was okay, portion size was small and price was high for what you get. The Cuban sandwich has maybe two tablespoons of pork and one slice of ham in a sea of bread and mustard; even though it came with fries, it was certainly not worth $17. The arepa we got was the same…$17 for very little food that had okay flavor, and didn’t even come with a side. I think the empanada we got was the best thing we had, but it wasn’t any better than any other restaurant and certainly also overpriced, costing $6 for something the size of about three of those frozen pizza bites. I wasn’t necessarily unhappy with anything in particular, I just left feeling disappointed and still hungry. Server was nice and friendly.

Something to be desired after leaving here. The food is food truck quality but fine dining prices. We had two meals and two non-alcoholic drinks that totaled $50 but probably should have been $25.

I am honestly very disappointed with the quality of food. I am not to give reviews, but I need to let people know about it. We ordered a cachapa with cheese only. And we received a cachapa with cheese and ham and melted yellow cheese like mexican and also shredded cheese. The worst was the empanada de pabellon that tasted nothing like it. See picture attached. I would not recommend it.

Worst Venezuelan food we have ever eaten!! My wife and her cousin are Venezuelan, grew up in Venezuela and I lived in Venezuela. The empanada was so bad it almost made my wife sick. It was supposed to be an empanada with pabellón which typically has plantain, black beans, and shredded beef. Some also put cheese in it. We couldn’t even identify what was in this empanada when we opened it up. The cachapa had an unknown cheese and sauce in it not normally used in a cachapa. We asked for a cachapa with cheese which is typical and they put slices of ham in it. The prices were also way too high. We spent $135 for only five people! They wanted $12 for a non-alcoholic piña colada! If you want to try true Venezuelan food do NOT go to this restaurant!

I’m from Venezuela, and I can honestly say that the food was good, the Arepa Cabimera was probably one of the best I’ve had, and my husband enjoyed the patacón. My only complaint is that the service was very slow, it took an hour to get our food, and no refills were offered. Also, some food items are extremely overpriced. 4 tequeños for $10.99 seem a bit ridiculous, $17.99 for a hot dog, and $5.99 for one empanada, which it was a bit on the smaller side was not justifiable. There were no Venezuelan sodas available either. While the food was good, I don’t think I will come back.

Mixed bag for us. Very friendly service. Good, not exceptional, food. Paid way more than the food was worth for lunch. We hope it gets better. Roberto’s Little Havana owned the space before the Latin Shark, yet earned a very loyal following. They had consistently great food with affordable pricing. I hope the Latin Shark can reach that level.

Excellent pan-Latin menu! I have literally never had a bad meal here, but the fried plantain sandwich with pork is amazing! Plus cold Medalla and great service! Mostly indoor, but some outdoor seating. Check them out next time you are in downtown Cocoa Beach!

Super overpriced. Food does not justify the price. Some like cachapa was unateable. Some ok food but nothing to rave about. Service was great, but food was not up to par.
