Is a 3.5 or 4: not for anything bad, but because it’s a family restaurant with quick and reasonably priced food. There might be kids running around, or you might not like the music. However I’ve gotten food here for years and it’s always been consistently fine.

I think this place under rated for what you get! Quality and fun flavors! I always feel healthy eating there and it’s quick and reasonable pricing. Wish we had more places like this. Support your local places like this. Quesadillas are bomb!

The employees are very professional and took care of a situation this evening very well! There was a miscommunication and they totally understood and figured out what the snafu was. I was so impressed and to boot they comped our meal.

Food was OK, I’m a flavor/sauce person and my Korean bowl was pretty dry and bland. The rest of my group had similar comments. Tried to flavor it with their habanero salsa and it helped some.. Portions were pretty small so don’t expect to walk away full, again my group had similar comments. Their beer was good though!! And well priced. Probably will not be going back. It’s also semi fast food, you order at the counter and take a number tonhave food delivered. You need to go back to counter to get additional drinks, items. It seems really popular and lots repeat clients as the the front counter guy seemed to know alot of the people. Just not my kind of place.

Laughing Planet is a likeable place you have to appreciate trying to be healthy, creative and affordable at the same time, in this location offering seating on the sidewalk, inside and out back. I’ll gladly recommend them, but I feel they need to work on sauces that will punch through all the veg to create a more memorable taste.

Hard to find a place that is vegan friendly, meat eater friendly, kid friendly and healthy, but still serves beer. This place hit every mark. Very happy to have found this place while visiting Portland.

I’ve never tried Laughing Planet before, though I’ve really meant to. I found a deal on Too Good To Go, an app meant to reduce food waste, and I saw it as a sign that I should finally try it. For $5 I got a small chicken, cheese, rice, and corn burrito; a side of rice and beans with a green salsa sauce; and three giant chocolate peppermint cookies. Everything was delicious! The chicken in the burrito was plentiful and moist. I have no idea what that green sauce was but it was SO good! I liked that the black beans weren’t over cooked—they still were still in bean form as opposed to overcooks beans that mush up (but aren’t supposed to be refried-style). The cookies were amazing and I feel so lucky to have gotten three lol. Everything I ate was fresh and didn’t feel stale. I’m definitely intrigued now and will be back to try something on the menu.

Overall, healthier and fresher than other fast service places. Not a fan of the salsa and chips. My chicken bowl was tasty and made for some good leftovers.
