Best place in Eugene for healthy, tasty food with extensive vegan options. Everything is great but I especially like the Spanky’s bowl (w. added spinach and medium salsa) and Veggie bowl (w. extra pickles and tahini dressing). Their cookies are superdelish! Super clean and pleasant atmosphere, friendly service. I love the Blair Street location but based on this past week’s meals (5/8 days – don’t judge!), this location may be even better. Long live the Laughing Planet Café!

I have been here three or four times with my brother. I like this place. Ate the Mushroom Taco. I have partook of several different burritos, the SW Green Chili being the most recent. Good flavors, everything comes through, each and every ingredient. The little salsa that came with the taco kicked some nice, flavorful heat all over the place. The people who work here are a fine lot, indeed. I have no need for employees of any business to be nice. I can’t ask for more than what I pay for. The Dominant Paradigm in the World of Customer Service has shifted. It is up to the customer to be kind, gracious, and patient. TIP!!! You rotten badtids! Don’t be demanding, or crude, or sell important. Places like Laughing Planet will reward you for your humanity. I will most certainly be back for more culinary delights from this fine establishment employing fine people. Gary Bob sez check it out.

Still decently priced especially in this economy where everything is too much $. They are quick, the food is tasty and healthy and the quality is consistent. Really appreciate this place because a lot of places have really gone down with consistent yummy food.

The food is good. Let me just say, I can tell the difference when my body is metabolizing a meal with quality natural grown products vs. otherwise. The staff is a little better than the avg. restaurant staff you might get at a more commercialized restaurant. I can say the cashier was nice all of the three times I’ve been in there. But, I’m just so sick and tired of these otherwise good locations having less than stellar staff. If the food is 5 star but the staff isn’t it’s STILL a reflection of the leadership behind the scenes. Those of us who are working towards our goals want to believe that business owners and otherwise successful entrepreneurs have a mindset that reflects it, but when your hiring practices aren’t up to par that’s just not the case. When I’m having to listen to the unfunny jokes and personal conversations behind the counter and in the kitchen to the point I’m feeling a little harassed it’s not a good look and it’s still telling about the quality of the restaurant. In short, 5 star food with 3 star staff equals a 4 star restaurant, and that’s what you have here.

We just had the best meal at laughing planet! We got the Bollywood bowl and the peach marionberry smoothie. Both were delicious. Delicious, fresh ingredients. It took about 15 minutes for them to make our food. we paid $20 total, including tip, and we sat outside on the patio to enjoy the gorgeous weather. Our server was kind and their set-up inside was contactless and efficient. We had a great experience and can’t wait to come back.

The food is fine but salad dressings are gross. They can’t just have a simple dressing for the overly-complicated salads. I just threw out an entire side salad after one bite because the avocado lime dressing tastes like vomit.

My wife and I eat here a lot. Laid back family atmosphere with little plastic dinosaurs everywhere. I love their Thai chicken bowls and maybe one other dish. Their hot sauce is a true hot sauce that will burn your mouth so bad that you will get up off your seat and head butt your grandma three times. The only negative is that I’ve tried some of the other dishes and they aren’t that great so I just stick to the Thai bowls….. and the medium sauce……. Grandma’s got a hard head, but the last time I gave her a little thrashing she almost swallowed her dentures. I had to let them out of the back of her throat with some chopsticks.

The food is exceptional, it is real food, the chicken and beef tasted as good as it did before they started modifying it with hormones, antibiotics and water. Our tacos were as good as any we have ever had and the grilled chicken quesadilla was full of chicken, queso fresco and the best Pico I have had without setting my mouth on fire. Their online ordering is easy and fast. Their customer service is fabulous, the restaurant is clean, and well cared for. They have ample parking, dining in and nice outside seating with umbrellas. Overall I am impressed and we will be back.
