Thanks to Renee for serving us. Great service with a smile. The presentation of this restaurant was typical of a family diner. This was not the most pristine restaurant but it was good. This is not a fancy place but there is no stress and an easy place to grab a bite and dash. I’d easily return to eat here! There were good thick cuts of bacon and thwre was fresh gravy for the biscuits. The biscuits were NOT homemade which disappointed me a bit. The biscuits and gravy were good, not great. The food overall was an AMAZING value. You can easily eat Breakfast there for $6.75-8.75. I’d easily return to thei place but it’s nothing fancy. BE ADVISED THIS PLACE IS CASH ONLY!!!

I really love this place and I am not one to leave bad reviews, but nonetheless I got a to-go order and while I waited for my food to be finished, I saw the cook in the back touching biscuits, toast and English’s muffins with his bare hands…. its just simply NOT sanitary… and that’s just what I saw for standing there for 5 minutes. I used to work in the food industry. So i get it.. but its not right and its not sanitary. WEAR GLOVES. If I choose to order again and see the same thing I will be contacting the health department.

10/10 experience!! My group came in from out of town for an event & we hit the jackpot finding a breakfast spot. Food was amazing, service was even better! Everyone in there is so sweet! Get the country fried steak you won’t regret it!!!

Okay, so I hadn’t eaten anything in over 30 hours when I came in (due to a procedure), so anything I ate might have been delicious. But it just so happened that I wanted a breakfast burrito and Laura’s had good reviews. So off we went! And dang, that breakfast burrito was freaking DELICIOUS. My partner got an omelet & French toast and loved his meal, too. (And he wasn’t as starved as I was. ) I wish they had more than Lipton for hot tea, but it’s the U.S. Sometimes you get what you get and be happy about it. Ha!

This diner is small but the food and taste are amazing. This is the little place you go that has the feel of GREAT southern cooking. Great place to go eat with the fam. However, please be aware that it is CASH ONLY so be prepared! If not there is an ATM not far from the diner.

I drove up and Was hoping that wasn’t the cook sitting out front the door smoking. I’m sorry ,you might be from buckroe…. but find another place other than put front your business. This is my first time here and I can say upon entry the reception was very warm and inviting. Everyone spoke even down to the customers who were leaving and that was awesome! I placed a to go order and I can tell from the way it looks and smells it’s going to be amazing. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because as I was paying my tab I placed the money in the cashier’s hand. However when she returned my change she placed it on the counter. I am big on respect and that kinda diminished the feel of the place to me. Especially when a lady paid right after me and her change was placed in her hand. If this seems petty to you that’s fine but it’s kind of a big deal to me. Other than that…all is awesome.
