Go to Papa Gino’s for pizza. Came in on a Friday night and it was not busy at all. Sat on the nice patio and waited about 15 min to be seen by our server who admitted to be socializing with someone. We ordered our drinks and apps, Mozzarella sticks and Quahogs which were good. We then ordered pizzas. We wanted to customize a few of them when we were told they were already premade and frozen. We should have stopped right there because they were not good at all. Soggy, undercooked with a film of oil on everything. It was late, our server was frazzled and we were just ready to leave.

They add 4% to the bill if you use a credit card. Someone in our group had an eggplant Parmesan that was too dry so he asked for and received a small amount of sauce. With no notice, he was charged $2.00 for the sauce that should have been in the sub to begin with! Our chicken Marsala dishes were as dry as the chicken in them. They do well with the pizzas so stick with pizza.

Not really designed to be a 5 star place, I just liked it that much. Cole slaw needs a little work, but I think most people don’t really eat their slaw sides. Mostly loved that it was removed from the rest of the cluster up the road, and the atmosphere is just what a pleb like myself loves

I NEVER post a negative review…. I can’t not mention how horrible our experience was at Laurino’s last night. We arrived and were told we would have a 10-15 minute wait. After 50 minutes and watching at least ten parties that arrived after us be seated, we enquired and were told we would have to wait another 15 minutes. When we were finally seated in a half empty dining room, they put us at a table directly underneath a mini split. It was freezing and the kids were shivering. We asked if it could be turned off or if we could be moved and were told no. When our waitress came to us after 20 minutes of being seated and ignored, we asked if we could place our entire order. We waited another 15-20 minutes to just get our drinks. Kids were all crying and losing it by that point. The food was far below average. Calamari was inedible, eggplant had zero flavor. Steak tips were good!

Out of control Chinese server wearing basketball clothing was the alert I had early on. They ask your name for the waiting time then just say ‘5 top’ over and over again, we don’t know what that means. It meant table for Elizabeth.

The clam chowder was good, but the bowl wasn’t much bigger than the cup. Both pizzas were good. Plenty of toppings and cooked perfectly. Bring your cash as there’s a 4% upcharge for credit cards.
