There’s such a wonderful vibe at Laurita’s Kitchen, staff is very friendly and kind. The food is delicious as well as their lemonade. I chose the breakfast plate, which includes 2 eggs, refried beans, ham, potatoes with chorizo & tortillas. Although it’s a simple plate it was very delicious and filled my tummy! They have many guisado options for burritos and many plates for any time of the day. Price wise, my plate was only $6. I will definitely be going back!

I had been wanting to try this place for so long because I heard their flautas ahogadas were so good . We were received by no one … We didn’t even realize the ladies that work it were the ones taking care of orders till they walked behind the counter . Malacarientas las 2 . Ni saludar pudieron. They looked at us like we were lost . My bf had to ask if they worked there , told them we’d like to place an order . One of the ladies simply looked at us and turned away . Finally placed and received our order …. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I was expecting a more “Mexican ” flavor since they’re flautas … But it was basically chicos with salad on top good lil place to catch a quick bite if you’re in the area …. Will we be returning ? No .

This place is a MUST try. The food is so good and the staff is so friendly. The atmosphere is cozy & the smells in there are to die for. There are no servers, you order, pick up your food, and clean up after yourself. It’s super affordable & so so tasty. 10/10 recommended!

What a spot! Been a few times, never disappointed. Counter prepped food-not a huge selection but all the good guys are present. Always order tacos-can’t speak to the other options. Service is super friendly. Always a rowdy, family-style group hanging around. Knowing Spanish helps, but English menu’s adorn the walls, and you can point to the hot foods, etc.

Laurita’s Kitchen has a quick and tasty lunch special, “Comida Corrida” which includes a large bowl of caldo (beef or chicken), rice and choice of enchiladas, tacos or flautas. A short walk from most downtown El Paso offices, Laurita’s is well worth the trip!
