While the atmosphere was American, the food was reminiscent of our time in Paris. To die for. Quite pricey, but oh so worth it once in a while. And if you’ve never been to France, or had their food, definitely worth it!

Our waitress Lindsay saved the day, but it was a rocky start. I had made our Thanksgiving dinner reservations about two months in advance for a party of 12. I had to adjust it down to 8, and called twice to confirm and to get the menu choices. The man who answered the phone quickly rattled off the menu even though I asked him to slow down so I could write it down. He was in a big hurry so he wasn’t very accommodating. Our party arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation and we weren’t greeted very cordially-it was the offensive “how many” type greeting. Saying we had a reservation, he could not find it! He seated us and then turned us over to Lindsay. From there the evening improved. She was cordial, welcoming, friendly, efficient. Our dinners were all enjoyable. (I think my wine was just about to turn, but I didn’t want to bring that up). One of our party was celebrating a birthday and Lindsay was so kind to write on Happy Birthday on her dessert plate along with a candle.

We were so very happy to find this treasure of a restaurant in Green Valley. The food was superb! The tomato basil gazpacho was perfect and while we normally do not eat desert, it was WELL worth it. Best creme brulee and key lime pie was off the chart

Excellent French cuisine with a bit of a modern american twist. Big portions, none of that fancy, ‘to small to notice’ B.S., and always worth the drive.

One of the hidden treasures in southern Arizona. Talk about great fresh food. You’ll get to taste one of the best french cuisine in town. Not to mention made from an actual MASTER CHEF!! Great place for dinner outings with friends and family. They have their own bar!!! You get to see a great view while you eat with a friendly staff

I drove down from Tucson to take my 92 year old friend I’ve known 40 years to do errands. She suggested McDonalds but I wanted to take her to a nice place and her neighbor suggested Lavender. They let us in without reservations and we were very pleased with our lunch choice. It was delicious but also presented beautifully.

We have dined at Lavender several times since moving to Green Valley and have always had a wonderful experience and fabulous dinners. This is the only restaurant in the area that my husband enjoys and will frequent. The summer buffets are extraordinary and certainly not your typical buffet. If you don’t try Lavender you are missing a special treat.

I showed up at opening and they had 16 booked for reservations and they wouldn’t seat us, a party of two. The hostess was the rudest most disrespectful person I’ve ever met representing a dining room. I guess it’s best they are retiring because if they can’t cook for 16 people and us they shouldn’t be in the business.
