My intent was to support local business so I ordered $ 60.00 of takeout expecting this fóod to be comparable to that Lawrence location on Canal in Chicago. We were terribly disappointed as there was so much costing that we could not distinguish the taste of chicken from fish . This is just a cheap take out joint with no food quality. Don’t waste your money. You will do better going someplace else.

On 7/7/23 at 5:12pm I bought one pound of large shrimp (15) full of breading fried in old grease. One pound of wing zings (12) full of breading fried in old grease. One pound of catfish (strips 2 strips and four small pieces) they were old hard with tons of breading and fried in old grease which made me vomit. The experience of receiving my food in grease soaked brown paper bags for $61.60 is over rated. The jalapeño ranch sauce was room temperature they didn’t have it stored in the refrigerator I’m assuming. They don’t have to worry about me coming again!!!!!!!!

I spent $30 and I asked for a whole catfish it was the smallest catfish in the world and a half a dozen of shrimps they were fine but the fish and the chicken was cooked I mean the fish and the shrimps was cooked in the same batter so no I would not be going back to Lawrence fishery spending $30 and I was still hungry.

Ordered large shrimp and fish n chips. Food wasn’t hitting, I was expecting better. The seasoning was non-existent on both the shrimp and fish. Definitely a one-and-done spot for me. 5.1

I got a half order of the large shrimp with fries, very disappointing. The best thing about it was the sauce. The shrimp weren’t seasoned beside maybe a little pepper in the breading and they tasted a little off. The fries weren’t even good, just crispy. For almost $20 I could get more food and better shrimp and fries from somewhere else.

Hello everyone went to this Lawrence’s on yesterday I ordered online an paid for it once I arrived an went in 2 employees sitting outside the counter didn’t even speak I knew then this was a mistake it paid $30 for these miniature shrimp an a half catfish strips no seasoning no taste well that’s it for me I will not be returning customer service is garbage an still had to wait 10minutes after a online order an I had already paid. Support black buisness RIGHT.

Horrible! The shrimp taste like bland frozen breaded shrimp. This is nothing like the original or other locations I’ve had. Also, ditch the crispy fries and go back the original kind.
