As the saying goes: “NEVER judge a book by its cover.” I’m leaving this review as I’m eating here for the first time! This restaurant is a lifesaver if you’re craving hard shell tacos! It’s the ONLY spot within a 5 mile radius of South Gate, and I checked. All the other taco spots only serve those soft shell tacos with the tiny corn tortillas.

Oh man the best tacos are sold here! I been in this restaurant since I was 8 years old. I remember how my dad would take me and now I take my daughter and wife. I still like how they keep it the same, it just brings back good old memories and even though the employees change the food remains the same, DELICIOUS.

Absolutely love this place. Been going here since I was a kid. I always get the asada torta combo. Literally the only place I get tortas at. Gotta love that Elizabeth’s bakery bread they use. And I personally really enjoy their house salsa. Wish I can buy the salsa like in a bottle.

It’s a very small establishment but the food is good. I really like the carne asada fries, they serve a generous amount enough to share. It’s inside a small plaza on the corner of Firestone/Santa Fe so it’s often overlooked but of you are in or around that area I do recommend you check it out.
