This place is halal! We only tried the arabian coffee and bakhalava. Both were very good and tasty. I would definately be back to try their food as well.

I ordered lamb pomegranate hummus dish. It was very good and a lot of food for the money. The service was quick despite multiple orders going in ahead of me. The carrots, cucumbers, and peppers were fresh. The pita bread was delicious. (Wife kept stealing the the pita from me)

The food is great here! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Since we didn’t know what to order (we are not very familiar with Middle Eastern cuisine) we went with the staff’s recommendation. It was delicious!! We will visit again soon.

My boyfriend really wanted to like this place. He’s had Shawarma 100’s of times, but sadly this one was real bad. It was dry and flavorless. The hummus was awful too.

Visiting Lancaster for a conference and wanting to try some diverse food and support a POC owned business, I decided to purchase my dinner from here. I spent $18 for the ignoble pleasure of waiting about 30 mins for the wrap and drink I paid for. I ultimately had to get up and go to the counter to ask if my food was ready, given that the buzzer they handed me for that purpose never went off, and though I was sitting directly in front of the counter I was never acknowledged or called for. When it started to near the 30 minute mark, and I noticed the person who rang me up was taking several new customers orders (and handing them their receipts! Which he never gave me), I finally went up to ask for the food.

When I recently hosted dinner for friends, Layali el Sham was recommended and, with their team’s assistance, we created a Middle Eastern feast! Such fun to make this Southern Market discovery. My friends’ reviews:

The food is delicious and clean ( which is very important to me) , however, the only concern that I have was about the sauce inside the wrap was very little, you need to make your wrap softer by adding more sauce to it ( it was dry ) ..it is expensive and small wrap so you only need to take care of it to be more tasty! The hummus also need more tihina to taste better… I asked for fries … but Saja said that you don’t have fries ,,, hope to get fries next time!
