Stumbled upon a pretty amazing little café for breakfast while visiting historic downtown McKinney. Interestingly enough, this place has a tremendous bar collection and has a pretty cool bar set up as well. No one would know walking does restaurant so there’s a large bar in the back but this place looks very nice.

Great service! Coffee was amazing. I ordered the Shakhshuka which was really good. I would request that they take the word “Israeli” out of the description of the dish. The dish is originally from North Africa and the word Shakhshuka is Arabic, so not only is this description incorrect but also offensive to certain ethnic groups.

Walking in Downtown McKinney and LAYERED caught our attention..people sitting on patio drinking mimosas. We ate inside and loved what we ordered. Must say best latte I’ve ever had!! Great staff, excellent customer service. One of the best places to eat in Downtown McKinney.

My wife and I love this spot! The coffee and food are amazing. The staff here is super friendly and the owner is super involved with the day to day operations. Every time we come here for brunch or lunch we have a great experience. Cool fact about this spot, it turns into a speak easy at night(which we also love)!
