We had a great meal @laziakc this weekend. We have been before with other chefs, @crosschefkc has completely changed the menu and my mind about Lazia.

I’ve always seen this restaurant inside of the hotel and decide to Try it! I recommend making reservations as we did not have one and waited roughly 30 min on a Monday night, we didn’t Mind tho as there’s a nice bar/ seating ne’er the lobby. As I walked up to the front of the restaurant I was offered a free same of Amaro Nonino, I was told it was a sort of palette cleanser before dinner, the shot was excellent! We sat down in the center of the restaurant, the table was well decorated and I believe most are candle lit. I loved the dim light vibe of this place. The menu was sort of different then I’m used to as far as Italian goes, I did have to google some of the ingredients as I didn’t know what they were. The server was friendly and helped with questions and gave me suggestions based on what dish i wanted that was similar. The food was phenomenal, each dish I tried has so much flavor. Also some of the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Based on the food and vibe I definitely recommend this place. A great restaurant to date a date or just go with family. The food prices are spot on and not overly expensive.

Any meal you have here is more an experience than a meal. Upon entering, which you enter through the Crossroads hotel and there are valet signs outside then you walk in and walk left to the red Lazia sign, you are offered a liqueur to help cleanse your pallet and start you off on the right foot.

This was without equal. So many pretentious Italian joints named after famous old ladies exist in KC. Lazia blows all of them away. The food, drinks, experience, atmosphere, and service were each incredible. Incredible.

Great atmosphere and vibe, but it took us an hr to get our appetizer. Then we got one wrong entree. The server was super nice and it’s a pretty restaurant but it seemed like we were in slow motion

Was there for dinner on Easter Sunday celebrating by birthday. One of the top meals I’ve had in KC. Not only was the food amazing but the atmosphere makes it a whole experience. The server easily answered our questions and the cocktails were delicious. I hope I get to eat here again.

We had an amazing night at lazia. Our server was extremely nice, professional and described the meals perfectly. He also made a great wine bottle recommendation. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Kansas City. The focaccia and ravioli were my favorites! It’s a perfect date night spot. We went for our anniversary and multiple servers, hostesses, etc told us happy anniversary and they gave us dessert with happy anniversary on a chocolate. Great atmosphere.

We went to Lazia because there was a night market event at the hotel that night. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance-the restaurant is lovely and the greeting with the house amaro was a nice touch! Our server was excellent and we really enjoyed all of our food. Drinks were a little slow but well made. Bread service could use some work, but otherwise it was all top notch. Better to go here with a group to experience the family style service. That seems like it could present challenges to certain groups of diners but I enjoyed it.

Incredible dining experience with fantastic, hospitable staff. Lazia’s modern take on Italian classics is exquisite. Flavors were well balanced I left feeling satisfied even with the smaller portions than one would expect at an Italian restaurant. If you attend with a party I highly recommend ordering the hand pulled mozzarella it is both freshly delicious and spectacle to see done table-side.

Went with my family for my wife’s birthday. Atmosphere was great – a little loud for my dad but the music track gave a great vibe. Service was absolutely stellar, couldn’t have ask for better and it was busy! Food was pretty good – I had the La Mare and it was fresh all around just nothing I was like “wow” about. My wife wasn’t too happy with her steak but I tried it and I really liked. Great staple and hard to compete with so many great Italian restaurants in the area.
