So glad that I discovered this place , great hidden gem with so many delicious choices for lunch, Highly, highly recommend for a delicious, healthy lunch/ meal, and an absolute pleasure to meet the gentleman who owns and runs it. For falafel pitas done RIGHT, and much, much more , salads , vegan choices, and baklava and sweet , mouth watering baked delicacies, this place is worth the trip

This is THE BEST soup I’ve ever had in my entire life! I’m not sugar-coding at all (I absolutely don’t hold back when reviewing). Although the man serving may not flatter everyone who enters his shop, he’s genuine and the food is great! His wife is the chef. She’s super nice and extremely talented! 1 star taken off because the inside of the place is not pleasing at all but ya know, sometimes the best food come from places like these!

The owner is very blunt and has quite the may stories. I get the and beet mixed green Salad with the red lentil and lemon vinegarette and the lemon asparagus soup and its always fresh and delicious made. Highly recommend to visit the quiet burbs of Yantic and have they have a little quiet Patio to enjoy your enjoy your Mediterranean lunch and lebananese desserts

I really like this place. The infrastructure needs some love, but the food is excellent.

Makes me wish I lived closer. Found this by chance while we were staying near Mohegan, and it was incredible. Owner is a delight and the food was out of this world. I love cauliflower, and I don’t know how they got the cauliflower to taste like that. Absolute best! Will definitely come again anytime I’m in the area.

A very good local spot for lunch or a sweet. It is a bakery and lacks indoor seating. The best food to get is the salad of the day, which tends toward things like beats/lintels and away from lettuce, and the soups. I like the garlic chicken, but it’s a littel hit or miss day to day. The baked items are very good. The baklava is excellent and is the best in the area (my preference for their turkish). The cookies with the fruit paste are also excellent.

Everything either had too much spice or bland. We really were excited to go after reading the menu. They were nice. The prices were good. The ingredients were all fresh and good quality But, there were four us and we all agreed. The beef shawarma was waaay over spiced with a spice that dried out tongues out and we couldn’t eat it. The garlic chicken sandwich was so bland we couldn’t eat it. The cabbage soup was fresh and hearty but not a lot of flavor. The sweet potato coconut soup was fairly good.
