Good spot in Ruskin. Old school family charm/feel with friendly service and a solid menu. Grilled grouper was amazing, no lie. Slaw was top-notch and enjoyed the squash and zucchini side after much lament. I typically don’t like them due to the mushy nature of most preparations, but this was perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant, and the karaoke contest going on in the adjacent bar made it fun as well.

Unique little place with unusual atmosphere. Outdoor bar and seating with umbrellas. Very friendly staff. Very good fish and fries. (7/3) Went back again yesterday to the indoor bar for lunch, which has a convenient separate entrance. It has a friendly, laid back vibe with music and plenty of TV’s for sports fans. The bartender, Jen, was super friendly and efficient, the food and drinks were great and the atmosphere was like a lively neighborhood bar. Why not stop in and check it out for yourself?

A nice bar and Florida style restaurant. The staff are very friendly. The seafood is also pretty good. I would recommend the bacon jam oysters. However I would not get the calamari here because the quantity of the calamari is very limited. And it is also very dry. Two other people at my table ordered the fish tacos though. They said they were really good. A good appetizer would be the grouper bites for anyone who wants fish as an appetizer but not as a meal. Keep in mind that’s the main entrance is in the bar and it’s a bit cramped in there. The rest of the restaurant are scattered dining rooms. Overall I would say this is a good local eatery that you should try if you want some good seafood.

HHere’s the thing: it’s legit good food. but not super fantastic. and it’s pretty expensive. We ordered the gator bites, and they were fantastic, but $16 for a starter is not worth it. This Maui sandwich was also pretty good, but again, at $16, it just wasn’t worth how much I got. Although the fries are some of the best I’ve ever had, Would I come back? Yes, but not often. Thd atmosphere was happy and clean, and great customer service.

Food was fantastic. Beer was cold. Hodge podge of tables and chairs, some sitting at such an angle we couldnt see how drinks would stay put. The manager said they wanted to go towards more of a dive bar theme in the future, which is sad.

Fantastic hidden gem. We just stumbled upon this restaurant on our way home from Siesta Key and man are we glad we did. Great service, fantastic food and atmosphere. We have not been in a restaurant with such wonderful food and staff in quite some time. We enjoyed chatting about our travels, motorcycles and the fantastic Mahi sandwich I had. We will definitely be back!
