What a wonderful dining experience! Wendy was our server and did a great job. We went with the 2 dinners for $100 and it is such a great deal. You get 2 glasses of wine, 2 soups/salad, 2 entrees, 2 sides and 2 desserts from the list provided. Overall wonderful dining experience!

Quite simply, one of the most enjoyable eating and drinking experiences you can have. The food is amazing and the staff (Josh) and owner (Daniel) are super people. Update: 8/27/22. LBV has reopened and is currently open on Thursday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s

We have been to the LBV in WV several times and have always enjoyed it. I was not impressed with the this one at all. The server was horrible. My food was lacking and I did not receive it the way it was listed on the menu (supposed to be Parmesan risotto, instead got rice with pork gravy on it). When I asked about it to the server, he just blew me off. It took over two hours for us to get our food. Then at the end, the server literally stood over us while we paid and watched us enter our tips into the machine. It was really inappropriate, horrible service and terrible food.

1) The most unfriendly hostess I have ever witnessed; 2) steaks not cooked properly and for filet, exceptionally tough; 3) forgot a salad for one of our party; 4) more than $70 for a lobster tail that was maybe six ounces; 5) barely warm bisque. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND LBV FOR ANYONE

Service was ok, the food was horrible. Both my mom and I got sick on our way home, and were up most of the night with severe diarrhea that lasted most of our Sunday as well. Couldn’t even attend church from the stomach issues. Never in my life have I had a filet that tasted the way this did nor look like a pot roast type meat. Our bill was close to 200$ which included my husband’s steak, 2 filets, 3 baked potatoes, 3 salads and 3 water’s. We eat out a lot I don’t mind paying for expensive meals AS LONG as they’re worth it. This meal definitely wasn’t worth it. NEVER GOING BACK.

Prior to Covid, LBV was excellent. We were excited they were reopened, and we were finally able to visit. Wait staff were excellent. Unfortunately, the food was not. It was good, but no better than Red Lobster or TX Roadhouse for the price. Steak was char burned on the outside and mashed potatoes were Luke warm. Hopefully it was just an off night.

Went tonight for the first time to celebrate my birthday, the food was very good. I did have to send back my beef tips over the noodles with burgundy sauce was not hot enough. Our waitress took it back and hardly checked on us after. I wasn’t upset it wasn’t hot enough and absolutely loved the food. She could have been more personable was not genuine but she did check on her other tables around us frequently not ours so much. We will be back for the food and atmosphere. Kudos LBV very nice job on the yummy food! Our appetizers, soup and meals were delicious!
